Serena, who had been sitting with Lily's head resting in her lap, came over to Mercy and, looking into her eyes, said, "Mercy, if we don't stop these people right now, they'll kill each other before the demons even get inside. Their fear has devoured their reason."
Mercy took a deep breath, helplessness clearly visible on her face. "I don't understand what I should do, Serena. If I still had my Hell Commander powers today, I wouldn't just turn those monsters to ash where they stand—I could silence these humans with a single gesture as well. But right now… I feel like nothing more than an ordinary woman."
