Chapter 214: The Seventh Movement, Tenseigan!

...

Night had fallen.

"Shinra Tensei!!"

Boom—!

On the battlefield, Obito Uchiha unleashed the power of the Rinnegan once again, deflecting the Rasenshuriken thrown by Naruto.

Kakashi, Might Guy, and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, Killer Bee, were all assisting Naruto in besieging Obito. The battle was incredibly fierce.

High in the sky, Konan and Alex hovered, silently watching the chaos below. The fighting had lasted for quite some time, stretching deep into the night.

"Alex, when do we act?"

Alex thought for a moment. "Wait for Madara Uchiha to activate the Infinite Tsukuyomi."

The Infinite Tsukuyomi had to be cast by the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. Once activated, the chakra of every ninja in the world would converge on the God Tree. That would be the moment to strike.

Possessing the Tenseigan, which was on the same level as the Rinnegan, was enough to resist the genjutsu of Infinite Tsukuyomi. Moreover, with Alex's current spiritual power and attainments, he could also exempt himself from this supreme illusion.

Konan stared coldly at Obito below. "Does it have to be Madara who casts it?"

"Uh..." Alex hesitated. "Not necessarily. As long as it's a Ten-Tails Jinchuriki with the Rinnegan, it should work."

Obito, pushed to desperation, would inevitably merge with the Ten-Tails and become a Six Paths-level entity. However, during his fight with Naruto, this guy seemed to see his own shadow in the boy—a glimpse of the possibility of another path, a Hokage's path, had he not been influenced by Madara. In the end, he was 'Talk-no-Jutsu'd' by Naruto, voluntarily giving up the Eye of the Moon Plan and choosing not to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

"Maybe we can do this..." Alex said. "Wait for Obito to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, then beat him down completely. We can control him directly to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi. We don't need to wait for Six Paths Madara to appear."

The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed. It really didn't have to be Madara. Let Six Paths Obito do the heavy lifting.

"Before that..." Alex suddenly looked at a figure on the ground, shrouded in blue steam.

Might Guy!

"Let's send this guy away first..."

With the Flying Thunder God's spatial teleportation, even if Guy opened all Eight Gates, he wouldn't land a hit. However, to be safe, it was better to remove Guy from the battlefield entirely.

On the ground.

"Peacock of Flames!!"

Guy roared, his fists rubbing against the air violently, creating fireball after fireball of high temperature. He blasted them toward Obito.

But it was futile.

Another "Shinra Tensei" blasted away the massive, wide-range taijutsu attack. With a pair of Rinnegan, Obito's strength was even more terrifying. The white mask on his face remained completely intact. It seemed the life-and-death battle with Kakashi in the Kamui dimension wouldn't happen this time. His identity would remain concealed a bit longer.

After unleashing the Peacock of Flames, Guy fell naturally from mid-air.

"Kakashi! This white-masked guy's Rinnegan is too cheap! It absorbs ninjutsu and deflects taijutsu; his defense is practically flawless..."

"Guy." Kakashi stared intently at Obito, panting. "We have to attack in the interval between his visual jutsu."

His left Mangekyo had been active for a while, constantly trying to focus on the enemy. However, Obito was clearly guarding against it, preventing him from forming the spatial vortex to sever his body.

Kakashi was anxious. News from headquarters stated that the Five Kage were fighting Madara, but the situation looked grim. No updates had come through for five minutes. Meanwhile, his own battlefield was deadlocked; they couldn't take down the masked man.

"Kakashi." Guy landed beside him.

He didn't notice the ground beneath his right foot turn into a sheet of white paper.

It was a Teleportation Paper!

"Wait, I—"

Whoosh!

Before Guy could finish his sentence, he vanished without a trace.

"!!!" Kakashi froze, his eyes widening.

Where's Guy???

Such a big Guy... such a huge best friend... how did he suddenly disappear?

His first reaction was that Guy's taijutsu had improved again, his speed becoming so fast that even he couldn't track it. But he quickly realized that was wrong. No matter how fast someone was, they couldn't vanish into thin air! That wasn't speed; that was spatial teleportation!!

When did Guy learn that move???

Kakashi instantly dismissed the thought. His friend only knew taijutsu; he couldn't perform space-time ninjutsu.

He was definitely teleported by someone else!

And apart from the enemy in front of them... who else would do such a thing!!

He immediately looked at Obito in the field and roared, "Where did you send Guy?!!"

Obito, who was engaging in close combat with Naruto, heard the question and felt baffled. He looked over, his pupils trembling slightly.

Where is Might Guy???

He had been keeping tabs on everyone on the field. Guy had just attacked him and landed; how did he vanish in the blink of an eye?

Something was wrong!!

Obito's guard went up to the max. He raised both hands again and shouted coldly, "Shinra Tensei!!"

Boom!

Naruto and Bee were blasted away.

He stopped his offense, not pursuing them. His gaze scanned the surroundings warily, trying to find Guy. The area was a vast desert wasteland with excellent visibility. Furthermore, with the Rinnegan, nothing could hide.

Yet, he couldn't find Guy, nor could he detect any anomalies.

This situation made Obito extremely apprehensive. How could a living person just disappear? Kakashi said it was teleportation, but then who was the caster?? Why couldn't he detect them!

Obito glared with his purple Rinnegan—left, right, up, down—but saw nothing he wanted to see.

He had some guesses about the mysterious attacker. It was likely that traitor. But why transfer Guy away? And where was she hiding that even the Rinnegan couldn't see her?

Naruto, having been blown back, didn't attack. He jumped to Kakashi's side along with Bee.

"Kakashi-sensei." He frowned at the surroundings. "Bushy Brow-sensei?"

"He was teleported away." Kakashi's expression was grave. "It was very sudden. I don't know what happened, or how..."

It was unbelievable. Without another person appearing, without contact... could they just make Guy vanish?? Such mastery of space-time ninjutsu... even Minato-sensei, who excelled at the Flying Thunder God, couldn't do that.

The battlefield fell into an eerie silence.

The intense combat came to a grinding halt. Obito... and Naruto's side temporarily ceased fire, eyeing each other with suspicion.

High above, Alex snickered at the scene. It was inexplicably funny.

At this altitude, combined with the extremely strong concealment barrier he had set up, even the Rinnegan couldn't penetrate it. Naturally, they couldn't discover him and Konan.

Thump-thump!

Just then, Konan's eyes trembled. The seventh fetal movement had arrived!!

In an instant, the movement ended.

This time, the blue starlight in her pure white pupils didn't fade. Instead, it shone brilliantly, filling the entire pupil. Her eyes looked like swirling blue galaxies—incredibly gorgeous and flowing with light.

After consuming an entire giant Tenseigan and undergoing seven fetal movements, Konan's Tenseigan was fully awakened!

It was more dazzling and contained more starlight than Toneri's. The power was also far greater!

"Alex." The galaxy in Konan's eyes swirled as she smiled. "I feel like I'm omnipotent right now!"

She raised her hand, and a green energy sphere sparkling with starlight floated in her palm.

"I think we don't need to wait for Obito to absorb the Ten-Tails himself. We can control him directly, turn him into a puppet, and make him do our bidding!"
