A dragon was born into the world from an egg left alone in the ancient past, it hatched but it was too late. It was the last of its kind, without any other dragon to compete with to survive, it adapted and grew larger than any of its kind recorded in fossils. It ate everything it came across indiscriminately, causing chains of famine and destruction in its wake. Then without any warning the dragon slept for centuries, It shed its own scales over and over again over the years until it was covered by what looked like stone.
100 years that passed, it resembled a misplaced hill in the plains.
200 years, it finally resembled a small mountain
300 years, flowers began to bloom that was never seen before
400 years, the dragon finally awoke but it was still the size of an average castle, it went outside to hunt for food, again causing famine and death to what ever its gaze comes upon. It ravaged the early establishments of villages across the lands. It earned the name Usurper Of Beast as it overpowered the now extinct species of Wyverns who were already beast on their own right. The dragon caused extinctions of different kinds of dragons until it came across its weakness. The enchanted metal Anima Ore. The ore harmed the dragon by absorbing its energy sucking the dragon dry of its energy. The dragon feared the ore soo much it returned back to its shell made of scales that resembled a mountain and continued to hide for centuries to regain its energy.
Centuries later... Unknown passage of time, the dragon was forgotten, its only sign that it existed was the teeth that it left as it shed.
