Jeremy had been quiet the whole time. He didn't move or say anything while I stood there, seething with anger, bitterness, and confusion about why I was this mad at him.
I just wanted him to admit it for once. To say that he felt something for me and that I hadn't been imagining everything all these years. Maybe I didn't have to be bonded to these fated mates at all. Maybe, if he just said it, I would choose him over everything.

My face twisted into a horrified frown. "What? You have to… Are you being serious right now?"
"His Majesty just mind-linked me to come over, so yes. I have to leave." He simply said.
