The Kappa Maze.
The Four Demon Generals stood together beneath the statue, demonic energy radiating from their bodies, their faces twisted and ferocious.
Water Demon was a female demon who resembled the water demon Basha. Her hair writhed like sea snakes, her skin was entirely blue, and instead of legs, she had a massive serpent tail.
Wind Demon was a huge green toad with bulging cheeks, green wind energy swirling around its body.
Earth Demon was a powerful boar with gleaming tusks and steel-needle bristles, possessing the ability to control the earth element.
Fire Demon looked like a savage humanoid beast clad in flaming armor, with two horns on its head and the power to control fire.
Ishiyama stared at the four demons across from him, his expression grim. "Be careful. All four of these villains are strong, especially Fire Demon."
"Relax. This hero's gonna beat the stuffing out of these freaks!" Cannonbolt cracked his knuckles.
Big Chill exhaled a stream of cold air and said in a hoarse voice, "Leave Water Demon to me."
Ice countered water. There was no one more suitable for that fight.
"I'll take Earth Demon." Fierce battle intent flared in Wrestler Gwen's eyes.
"Then I'll take the strongest one, Fire Demon!" Cannonbolt volunteered eagerly.
"No. Fire Demon should be handled by the strongest sumo wrestler."
As soon as he finished speaking, dazzling golden light burst from Ishiyama's muscular body, and a fierce aura surged out wildly.
Gigantification. Teleport!
In an instant, Ishiyama was already locked in battle with Fire Demon, unleashing a savage, overwhelming force.
"Oh, man. Guess I'm stuck fighting a loser like Wind Demon." Cannonbolt shook his head and sighed.
"The nerve!" Wind Demon glared with its bulging toad eyes, opened its massive mouth, and spat out a violent hurricane at Cannonbolt.
"Cannonbolt, slam!"
On the other side, Big Chill had already begun fighting Water Demon.
Water Demon's attacks were powerful. Her highly compressed water blasts could easily shatter stone pillars, making them extremely destructive.
"Hehe, what an elegant creature." Water Demon's voice was alluring. She licked her pink tongue and stared fixedly at Big Chill in the air. "I'm going to turn you into a specimen and have my fun with you every day. Hahaha!"
"Sorry, but your little dream is about to shatter." Big Chill spat out a burst of cold air, forming an ice spear in midair, then struck out with one palm.
The fierce ice spear, carrying a biting gale, tore through the air and shot straight at Water Demon.
With one sweep of her tail, Water Demon smashed the spear to pieces.
"Water Sealing Art!"
Water Demon raised both hands and condensed a transparent bubble of water, then hurled it at Big Chill.
Big Chill beat his wings, releasing an icy wind that froze the bubble solid.
Seeing her attack fail, Water Demon immediately spat out another surging torrent. Like a roaring, twisting water dragon, it slammed toward Big Chill above.
Big Chill phased, leaving behind only a blue humanoid silhouette.
Then he beat his wings and flew straight into the torrent, ignoring the raging current as he froze it solid along the way, turning it into a thick pillar of ice.
"What!" Water Demon's face changed in shock as she turned to flee.
"Too late."
Big Chill flashed forward and passed straight through Water Demon's body.
Crack. Crack.
Sheets of frost spread from Water Demon's chest, freezing her entire body in the blink of an eye until she became a crystal-clear ice sculpture.
"It's over."
Big Chill grinned and condensed a massive ice hammer in his hand.
One hammer strike.
The ice statue shattered into pieces.
With a loud boom, it exploded into a shower of ice crystals, completely destroying Water Demon.
"Hm?" Big Chill noticed that an Alien DNA Totem had dropped where Water Demon died.
It was Diamondhead's Totem!
Big Chill dived down, absorbed Diamondhead's DNA, then turned to look at the others.
Ishiyama and Fire Demon were locked in an even fight, trading blows without either side gaining the upper hand.
But Ben and Gwen's side was much harder to watch.
Gwen's bow was certainly sharp, but Earth Demon's boar hide was too thick, and with those steel-like bristles, its defense was absurdly high. The damage she could do was extremely limited.
She could only use hit-and-run tactics to wear it down, but she was almost out of arrows.
As for Ben's Cannonbolt, he was being toyed with by Wind Demon like a ball, blown back and forth as easily as a bubble.
A chill flashed through Big Chill's golden eyes. He entered his phasing state and shot straight at Earth Demon.
Earth Demon sensed the danger and quickly gathered energy, forming a layer of yellow-brown earth energy over its body in an attempt to block Big Chill.
But Big Chill's phasing was simply too advanced. He passed straight through the earth-element shield and rushed into Earth Demon's body.
In just a few breaths, Earth Demon was frozen into an enormous boar ice statue.
"Awesome!" Gwen cheered, a relieved smile rising to her lips.
Big Chill snapped his fingers and summoned an ice lion.
"Roar!"
With a single bite, the ice lion crushed the frozen boar to pieces.
Boom!
A flash of white light burst out, dropping a new piece of equipment.
Humungousaur!
On the other side, Cannonbolt was already close to his limit.
There was no helping it. Wind Demon's abilities countered Cannonbolt too hard.
Every time Cannonbolt tried to smash into Wind Demon, Wind Demon would spit out a violent gust and blow him off course, making it impossible for him to aim properly.
By contrast, Wind Demon's attacks kept Cannonbolt completely pinned down. Between the hurricane control and wind blades, Cannonbolt was getting battered without being able to do much of anything.
But no matter how powerful the storm was, it was still child's play to Big Chill.
Big Chill ignored the raging winds completely and used the same method again, freezing the giant toad Wind Demon into an ice statue.
"Nice! Had to be you, Cuz!" Cannonbolt seized the chance and smashed the frozen toad to pieces.
Boom!
A brilliant white light erupted, and a new Hero Totem dropped.
Blitzwolfer!
"Ben, absorb the DNA," Big Chill said.
He had already absorbed two DNA samples just now, Diamondhead and Humungousaur.
Absorbing Blitzwolfer as well would not help much, so it was better to let Ben take it and strengthen their overall combat power.
Now only the strongest one remained. Fire Demon...
