"Nice, this is about to get interesting."
Even though he had no idea what was going on, seeing Gwen look upset filled Ben with a sense of satisfaction.
"Gwen, what's wrong?" Grandpa Max frowned as he looked at the milk spilled all over the floor.
The fox girl's red lips curved upward as she leaned in close to Gwen. "Little sister, let me tell you something~ Lucian is mine now…"
Gwen's face turned deathly pale in an instant.
Then, just as quickly, it flushed red with fury.
"You damn fox spirit, get away from me!"
As she spoke, moisture gathered in Gwen's palm.
Within just a few breaths, a deep-blue water dragon coiled around her arm.
"Huh? You can use magic too?"
Yenji looked surprised and took two steps back.
"Gwen, stop it right now!" Grandpa Max shouted sternly.
No matter what, the fox girl was now his future granddaughter-in-law. She couldn't be hurt.
Especially since Lucian and the fox girl had already gone that far…
The rice had already been cooked.
But it was too late. Gwen had already unleashed the Water Dragon Soul.
"Roar!"
The ferocious blue dragon surged forward, water vapor billowing as it slammed toward the fox girl's chest with violent force.
"Oh~ this just escalated." Ben quickly dodged to the side.
Lucian shook his head helplessly and was about to step in.
But Yenji was faster.
She turned into a blur, crimson claws flashing as she struck. In an instant, the water dragon shattered and dissipated in midair.
The scattered mist slowly drifted down, covering every corner of the living room.
The once-dry interior became damp in the blink of an eye.
The fox girl snorted lightly, standing atop the sofa as she turned to the enraged Gwen.
"You're no match for me right now. Your magic is strong, but it still needs more refinement."
Lucian's gaze shifted slightly.
He hadn't expected the fox girl's physical strength to be even greater than he imagined.
To shatter a Water Dragon Soul with her bare hands…
Thinking back, when Yenji had faced Kevin last time, being defeated instantly was actually normal.
That had created the illusion that her close-combat ability was weak.
And besides… when he woke up this morning, his waist had still been faintly sore…
"Shut up! Today I'm going to teach you a lesson, you fox spirit!"
Gwen was furious, chanting her spell at the top of her lungs.
Obscure, ancient incantations echoed through the living room, their momentum growing sharper by the second.
A fierce wind began to rise, sweeping teacups and fruit off the table.
Pillows flew everywhere, plants swayed violently.
Even the heavy sofa started to shake, nearly lifting off the ground.
"Gwen, stop it!" Grandpa Max shouted.
But Gwen could no longer hear him.
Her mind was filled with unbelievable images.
What exactly had happened last night?
Just thinking about the fox girl being intimate with her cousin made her heart twist in pain.
"#$%@…!"
As the chanting continued, countless blue water blades formed around Gwen, densely packed and gleaming with icy light.
"This is bad. It's a high-tier spell," Lucian's expression changed.
He had seen this spell in the Grimoire of Water Magic.
Blades surrounding the body, water vapor surging skyward.
A true high-tier spell.
Thousand Blades Piercing the Heart!
At this moment, Gwen's eyes shone with brilliant blue light.
Invisible gales whipped around her, making her clothes snap loudly.
The magical bloodline within her was burning, boiling over.
"Ah!"
She had completely lost control.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Countless azure greatswords surged forward, carrying terrifying power as piercing sword cries rang out, all of them shooting straight toward the fox girl.
She was utterly shocked. She hadn't expected her opponent to erupt with such overwhelming strength.
The blue sword projectiles gleamed sharply, rapidly expanding in her crimson eyes.
They were about to strike Yenji, piercing straight through her heart.
At the critical moment, a streak of green afterimage flashed in front of her.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The razor-sharp magic swords slammed wildly into the Bone-Armored Lizard, sparks spraying everywhere as shrill metallic screeches echoed nonstop.
The Bone-Armored Lizard clenched its teeth.
Six massive bone spikes on its back drew together in front of its body, forming a solid defensive barrier.
Like an impenetrable wall of steel and iron, it firmly blocked the assault of [Ten Thousand Swords Piercing the Heart].
Its entire body was covered in iron-gray scales, its defensive power astonishingly strong.
Even so, the successive water blades made its body tremble slightly.
It didn't hurt, but that alone showed just how powerful the impact was.
A slightly weaker Alien Hero would never have been able to withstand this attack.
"Lucian…"
Yenji stood frozen, staring blankly at the tall figure in front of her.
Somehow… he seemed even more handsome than before.
The terrifying blue greatswords continued crashing against the bone spikes, letting out piercing cries.
Then they dissolved into faint mist, drifting down into the muddy living room.
The once snow-white walls around them were slashed open by the lingering force of the water blades, leaving behind jagged, frightening cracks.
Fortunately, Ben had already transformed into XLR8 and taken Grandpa away to safety.
As time passed, the number of sword projectiles gradually decreased until they vanished completely.
Having fully exhausted her magic, Gwen's eyes rolled back as she collapsed backward.
The Bone-Armored Lizard's gaze sharpened as its legs burst forward.
It quickly extended its bone spikes, pulling Gwen into its arms.
"Why push yourself this far…" it said softly, gently placing the unconscious Gwen onto the plush sofa.
"Lucian, you're so handsome!"
A slender red figure leapt straight into the Bone-Armored Lizard's arms.
Yenji's eyes shone with delight, her lashes fluttering as she examined him closely. "I never thought you could turn into this kind of alien too."
"I recorded his genetic data in the interstellar arena," Lucian replied calmly.
[Bone-Armored Lizard: A Silver-Iron Star being. Over two meters tall, with cyan pupils. Its body is covered in iron-gray scales that gleam with a metallic sheen, resembling an upright lizard-man. Six massive bone spikes grow from its back, usable for both offense and defense.]
[Feeds on ore, absorbing metallic substances to strengthen the hardness of its bones and scales.]
[Abilities: Bone Spike Attacks, Extremely High Defense.]
[Weaknesses: Afraid of high temperatures and electric shocks. Also vulnerable to enemies with softening abilities, which can render its scales brittle.]
...
After resolving the "magic crisis,"
Lucian led the others to the front of Aunt Vera's house.
Seeing that everyone was safe, Grandpa Max finally let out a sigh of relief.
"Gwen almost lost control, but it turned into a blessing in disguise. She broke through to advanced water demon magic," Grandpa Max said with an optimistic smile.
"Oh, great. The nerdy cousin just got even stronger," Ben muttered, rubbing his forehead.
From now on, anyone who wanted to bully Gwen would have to think twice.
"Alright, it's time to take care of business," Lucian said.
His handsome face suddenly looked a bit awkward.
There was even a faint hint of red on it.
The others stared at him with wide eyes.
What was going on?
The always composed Lucian… was actually blushing?
Lucian gave a helpless smile and turned to the fox girl.
"Let's go. Lead the way."
"Yay! I want to see the baby Lucian gave birth to!"
"What?"
The other three looked at each other, their jaws nearly dropping to the floor.
