Chapter 54 - Three Different Worlds

Jet reached home.

She stood outside the familiar door for a few seconds, staring at it as if she had forgotten how to enter her own house.

Her hand slowly moved toward the handle.

Click.

The door opened.

The first thing she heard was crying.

Jet froze.

She stepped inside.

Her eyes slowly adjusted to the familiar room. The furniture was exactly where it had always been. The lights were on. Everything looked normal.

But the crying continued.

Then she saw them.

Her mother was sitting on the sofa, tears running down her face, while her father stood beside her, trying to calm her down.

Neither of them noticed Jet at first.

Her mother kept wiping her tears.

"It's been a week…"

Her voice broke.

Her father placed a hand on her shoulder.

"We'll find her. Don't worry."

Then both of them suddenly turned.

They saw Jet.

Silence.

Her mother's eyes widened.

For a second, she didn't move.

Then she rushed toward her.

"Jet!"

She wrapped her arms around her daughter.

"Oh, my child…"

Her voice trembled.

"Where were you? For so long… where were you?"

Jet stood completely frozen.

She couldn't even move her arms.

Her mother's tears soaked into her clothes.

Her father approached them, his face filled with disbelief.

"Jet… where have you been?"

Jet opened her mouth.

Nothing came out.

What could she possibly say?

That she had been trapped inside a place that shouldn't exist?

That she had walked through memories?

That people who disappeared years ago were still somewhere inside that place?

That something called the Owner had been playing with them?

That her friends were still trapped there?

None of it sounded real.

Not even to her.

She looked at her mother.

Then her father.

Then around the house.

Is this real?

Her thoughts started racing.

How did I get here?

Why me?

Where are Tony, Tin, and Samy?

Are they outside too?

Or am I the only one who escaped?

Her mother's voice suddenly sounded distant.

"Jet?"

Jet blinked.

Her vision became blurry.

Her legs felt weak.

She hadn't eaten properly.

She hadn't drunk anything.

She hadn't rested.

Whatever had happened inside the Darkside had drained everything from her.

Her body finally gave up.

She collapsed.

"JET!"

Her mother screamed.

Her father immediately rushed toward her.

They caught her before she could hit the floor completely.

Her mother held her tightly, crying again.

"Someone help us!"

But Jet couldn't hear them anymore.

Everything became dark.

Tony opened his eyes.

He was lying on the floor.

He immediately sat up.

His breathing was heavy.

He looked down.

The blood was gone.

The room was gone.

The nightmare was gone.

Everything had disappeared.

Tony stared around in confusion.

There was no Owner.

No Jet.

No Tin.

No voice.

Nothing.

Just an empty room.

He slowly stood up.

"What…"

He touched his chest.

His heart was still beating quickly.

But he was alive.

He looked around again.

The room looked almost exactly like the place where they had entered the Owner's game.

No broken walls.

No blood.

No strange symbols.

Nothing.

Tony walked toward the corner.

He checked the walls.

Nothing.

He checked underneath the desk.

Nothing.

He checked the shelves.

Nothing.

He searched every place he could think of.

Nothing.

Tony sighed.

"Of course…"

He rubbed his face.

"There's always nothing."

He walked toward the door.

His hand rested on the handle.

For a moment he hesitated.

Then he opened it.

The hallway was waiting for him.

Dark.

Silent.

Endless.

Tony stepped outside.

The door closed behind him.

He looked down the corridor.

It stretched farther than he could see.

No dead end.

No windows.

No signs.

Nothing.

Just darkness.

Tony slowly began walking.

His footsteps echoed faintly.

One.

Two.

Three.

He kept going.

Minutes passed.

Then more.

The hallway didn't change.

Tony looked behind him.

The door he had just exited from was gone.

He stopped.

"You've got to be kidding me."

He turned forward again.

The hallway continued.

Longer than before.

Almost like the Darkside itself was stretching the distance whenever he tried to reach somewhere.

Tony sighed.

"Fine."

He continued walking.

But this time he wasn't walking blindly.

His eyes were constantly searching.

If the Owner wanted to separate them…

Then there had to be a reason.

And Tony wasn't going to let himself become another piece of the game.

Tin opened his eyes.

Slowly.

At first, everything was blurry.

He blinked several times.

The darkness around him was gone.

He could see something.

Someone.

Tin suddenly sat up.

"Samy?"

There she was.

Standing several feet away.

She was talking to someone.

The Voice.

Tin immediately became alert.

He tried standing, but his legs felt weak.

"Samy!"

Samy turned around.

Her eyes widened.

"Tin!"

She immediately rushed toward him.

Tin nearly stumbled, but Samy caught his arm.

"Are you okay?"

Tin stared at her.

For a moment he couldn't answer.

He simply looked at her.

She was there.

Alive.

Real.

He finally let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.

"I heard you."

Samy looked confused.

"What?"

"When I was trapped… I heard you calling my name."

Samy's expression changed.

"I was."

Tin stared at her.

"You were?"

Samy nodded.

"I don't know how, but I could feel that something was happening to you."

Tin looked toward the Voice.

She was standing silently nearby.

Her expression was impossible to read.

Tin's eyes narrowed.

"You did this."

The Voice didn't deny it.

"I allowed you to hear her."

Tin immediately became suspicious.

"Why?"

The Voice looked at him.

"Because you needed something to hold onto."

Samy stepped closer to Tin.

"What happened to him?"

The Voice answered calmly.

"He faced his fear."

Tin looked confused.

"And Tony?"

The Voice remained silent.

That silence was enough.

Tin's expression changed.

"Where is Tony?"

No answer.

"Where is Jet?"

Still nothing.

Samy stepped forward.

"You said you'd help us."

The Voice looked at her.

"I said I would show you answers."

She paused.

"I never promised they would all be together."

Tin clenched his fists.

"So we're separated again?"

The Voice slowly nodded.

"For now."

Samy looked around.

"Where are we?"

The Voice turned toward the darkness behind her.

"Somewhere you have never been before."

Tin stood beside Samy.

His body was still exhausted, but his expression had changed.

He wasn't afraid anymore.

He was angry.

"If you know where they are…"

The Voice looked at him.

"…then take us to them."

The Voice smiled faintly.

"You still don't understand."

"What?"

"This place doesn't separate people randomly."

Samy and Tin looked at each other.

The Voice continued.

"It separates people according to what they need to see."

A long silence followed.

Tin's eyes narrowed.

"So Tony is seeing something."

"Yes."

"And Jet?"

"Yes."

"And us?"

The Voice looked directly at Samy.

"You are getting closer to the answer."

Samy's expression became serious.

"What answer?"

The Voice didn't respond.

Instead, she turned and began walking into the darkness.

Samy looked at Tin.

Tin looked back.

Neither of them knew what was waiting ahead.

But they followed.

Because now they understood something.

The Owner wasn't simply trying to kill them.

He wanted them to discover something.

Something buried beneath the Darkside.

Something connected to every missing student.

Something connected to the memories.

And perhaps—

Something connected to the people who had become shadows.

Far away, Tony continued walking through the endless corridor.

Jet lay unconscious in her own home, surrounded by parents who believed she had finally returned.

And somewhere between memories and darkness, Tin and Samy followed the Voice deeper into the unknown.

Three different places.

Three different paths.

But all of them were moving toward the same truth.

And somewhere in the darkness—

The Owner was watching.
