Elena's POV
I haven't been able to stomach anything for days. I know that we had our rough patches with Aunty Maria but she didn't deserve to die like that.
I am so heartbroken because Dad is nowhere to be found. Ryan has been making calls and doing everything possible but there's nothing.
A lone tear fell from my eyes then I felt someone holding me tight. "You shouldn't do this to yourself darling, I hate seeing you like this." Ryan's deep voice sounded so soothing.
I wrapped my tiny arms around him as much as I could. "I'm so tired of everything. My entire family are all gone. I've been unable to reach Nonna Anita since after the incident. I am so scared that something might have happened to her."
"It's okay, we'll figure it all out. You're not alone in all of this. You have me and I'll do anything to make you happy."
