Elena, holding on to the mace, asked with her lips curved up, "Are you satisfied with my power?"
"Hmm," Maldrak hummed, taking his mace back. "To make a deal with me, you'll have to have a certain extent of power."
He clenched his mace tightly as his demonic force calmed down, "And only the powerful are worthy of threatening me."
Elena exhaled, patting her chest. "I felt I would have to go all out and fight you." Her golden aura returned to her body. "I'm glad."
She mused. 'For a moment I expected I had lost a good pawn.'
Maldrak narrowed his eyes. "You said your God peeked into the trial. So how did a mere slime get acknowledged?"
Elena patted her lower lip with her left index finger. "Do you know about Demon King Remora?"
"Remora?" Maldrak raised his brows, asking back.
Elena rubbed her forehead. "I forgot—Your memories, and everyone else's memories were wiped out by that artifact."
