Finn Sterling sat at the table, locking eyes with Zoe Sawyer and Wyatt Crawford across from him.
"This is the dinner you promised me?"
Eve Sherman nodded, "I was just getting ready to have dinner with my friends."
Zoe's eyes were fixed intently on Finn, nodding repeatedly, "Yeah, I was going to invite Isabelle to dinner, and since you're Isabelle's friend, let's all have dinner together!"
Eve felt grateful that although Zoe had been so infatuated recently, their mutual understanding still existed.
Finn's eyes flickered upon hearing this, then he nodded, "Sure, it's good to meet your friends..."
As he spoke, his gaze fell on Wyatt across the table.
Wyatt was also staring straight at him.
"And who is this?"
Eve reacted instantly, "Oh, this is my husband."
She said that and then got up to sit next to Wyatt, who, snapping back to reality, immediately grabbed her arm, "Yes, I am her husband!"
"Oh."
Finn smiled and nodded, "Hello."
