Mu Ran was so shocked that she jumped out of bed, "Are you serious? Does my brother know?"
"No, your brother is in a meeting right now. I'm a little nervous, so I told you first." Feng Qikuo looked at the report in the hospital, her mind completely blank.
"I'm nervous too." Mu Ran held her forehead, "How did you get pregnant all of a sudden? Didn't you plan not to have children?"
"Not exactly. It's your brother who never wanted kids, but I kind of do." Feng Qikuo looked at the report, feeling more joy than fear inside.
Mu Ran's mind was a bit chaotic too. After a pause, she said, "You need to think it over carefully. Right now, you're at a career peak. If you have a child, you'll have to compromise on many things, and endure the pain and physical toll of childbirth. Be mentally prepared for it."
"I know." Feng Qikuo felt warm inside hearing her say that, "I'm continuing the family line for you guys, but you and your brother have always resisted."
