After four hours of travel — two of which turned into a slow advance as they made it deep enough into the barrier that it felt as though the vigorous life energies were punching into them — Daru, Elara, and Lucius finally found a suitable relocation spot.
There were a few dangerous spawn camps around, each with its own odd leader.
However, there was nothing quite as dangerous as Yorlak, making the two who fought the Bastard Bough wonder why it was settling for the border areas when it was strong enough to thrive in the more life-energy-dense locations.
What the three found was a small lake with a good population of Vitality Trees around it, though this also meant there were a lot of hostiles.
They could settle on each side of the lake, where they would be able to see whether the other was being attacked, but not get in each other's way of growth.
Daru could expand east, while Elara and Lucius westward.
