Nate, Maka, and Soul sat outside of a large pumpkin house in the bushes right outside the property. Maka had a pair of binoculars up to her eyes looking for any sign of the witch.
"Damnit," she said as she lowered the binoculars. "No sign of her yet." Maka said as she passed the binoculars over to Nate and Soul.
Soul stood from the bushes and walked in front of Maka, wiping a drop of drool from his sharp mouth.
"It ain't exactly manly to go around sneaking some lonely witch's house you two, I say we just go charge head first in there." He lowered himself into a running stance before sprinting head first to the witch's house.
"SOUL WAIT! This isn't like our other assignments! You can't just-" but he was already gone.
Nate darted from the bush and ran after him, internally agreeing that it wasn't manly to go sneaking around. Though he wouldn't tell Maka that.
The two of them ran up to a random window and jumped right into it, crashing through it and landing face first into...a bath full of bubbles???
The both of them looked up from the giant swath of bubbles they'd landed in and saw a naked woman staring back at them from within the bath tub. She stood up and grabbed soul by his head and brought her close to him.
"Aww are you boys lost?" Soul's nose began to bleed and he shot out form her grip, nearly hitting the back of his head on the edge of the bathtub.
"It's all good, I'm a cool guy I see naked women all the time Nate" Nate had already pried himself from the bathtub, slightly jealous that the woman had grabbed Soul and not him like that.
Maka shot into the window feet first knocking soul in the back of the head as she cried out, "You Idiot!" Knocking him out of the bathtub with a dropkick and over to the wall which he slid down face first.
"Sorry about all of this, but we're here to take your soul." Maka said jumping down from the window next to Soul and Nate who both stood awestruck at Blair's luscious body. Maka elbowed soul as she said, "Can you just transform into a scythe so we can kill her now..." Soul obliged, wiping his nose as he transformed.
Nate followed his lead and transformed his arms into long blades at the elbow allowing him full range of motion. Both assailants got into battle stances as Blair hopped out of the bathtub and was clothed in a black skin tight fitting garb in an instant.
'That's a bummer,' Nate thought to himself, not wanting Maka to hear. The witch began an incantation right before their very eyes.
"Pump-pumpkin Halloween Cannon!!" As she said this a large glowing pumpkin from her hand exploded into the room blowing both Maka and Nate through the wall as they blocked.
Now outside with their feet on the dark grassy ground, Maka looked to Nate and gave a solemn nod. Nate nodded in response, not really sure what she was nodding for but he knew it probably meant she was going to do something dangerous.
Blair the witch flew out of the hole she'd made in the side of her own house on a giant floating pumpkin. The trio began running down the block as she chased them tossing pumpkins their way that exploded on contact with the street below, kicking up stone and brick debris.
Maka turned around and jumped into the air, slicing a shot pumpkin through the middle before it could explode. Now right in Blair's face she prepared a devastating slash but Blair dodged it and appeared behind Maka with a "Pum~Pum Pumpkin Halloween Cannon!"
The orange light began to blind Maka's eyes. She knew she wouldn't be able to dodge in the air and prepared to take the full brunt of the attack when Nate teleported beside her, grabbing her and teleporting to the roof top a few paces over.
The Halloween Cannon blasted with a bang! Destroying the building where it collided.
The blast would've surely killed Maka if it had hit, she knew that if it wasn't for Nate she wouldn't have made it out of that alive. She put a hand on his shoulder and looked deep into his eyes as she said "Thank you for-"
But before she could finish the though Blair was upon them again, but she did not attack she floating listlessly in the air above.
"Why don't you come be my weapon, shiny boy. You seem even more interesting than the scythe boy." Nate fell silent at her words, she really wanted him to be her weapon? A woman like that wanted him?-
His thought was cut off with a loud familiar voice sounding off inside his head, it was Excalibur?
"FOOL! You cannot allow the blade of Excalibur! to be used by the hands of evil doers. For if the blade of Excalibur is sunk into stone, the hands of evil cannot even pry it out."
Nate hit himself on the head a few times to clear out the annoying voice, but maybe it had a point? If Blair tried to pull him from the ground maybe it would give Maka the opening she needed to land the killing blow
"Maka...do you trust me?" Was what he said as he stood on the edge of the building they were atop.
"I...Yes Nate I trust you!"
"Good!"
He looked up at Blair who was still watching him with a predator's gaze, she wanted him for herself. "If you want me to be your weapon Blair come get me!"
It was the last thing he said before he jumped into the air.
A brilliant flash of light instantly lit up the battlefield as if it was daybreak and a giant pair of wings floated by his side as he fully transformed into the gloriously shining blade of Excalibur for the first time and fell with 2 tons of force down to the street below where the blade of the sword lodged itself into the pavement...
