Xavier's POV
"What a good performance, Alfred," I applauded, stepping out of my hiding spot.
He staggered backward, his pupils dilated. He stuttered while pointing to my figure on the ground, twitching like an earthworm sprinkled with salt. "Is that you? Why aren't you dead already?"
"Me? Dead?" I chuckled, pulling out my gun. "How do you like Xavier No. 6? He's a perfect replica; he practically fooled you."
"You fooled me with an AI? He bellowed his hand trembling.

He let out a wicked laugh before grabbing Allura's hair. He pulled her head back harshly. She didn't squirm or struggle, even though my blood boiled. Before I could pull the trigger, a gunshot rang out, aimed for Alfred's head.
His eyes widened an unmistakable look of defeat and surprises flickered in his eyes as he fell backward, the silence punctured by an audible thud. I turned to see Hassan standing at the entrance, wiping his rifle.
