The door to the booth unlocked with a click.
Syril stepped back out into the room. The crowd was still there, but Brandon was gone, and Adam was nowhere to be seen, likely still waiting for the number 95 to be called.
Syril raised the watch, tapping the surface. The screen flickered to life, showing a HUD with various icons: Map, Schedule, Profile, Housing, Messages, etc.
He tapped the Housing icon. A small map of the dormitory sector appeared, and a message flashed on the screen.
Gray Wing, Room 300.
Below the room number, a text box appeared with the details of his living arrangements.
[Roommates: Adam Pierce, Lucas Thorne, and Jax Vance.]
'Impossible… Adam?'
"Relax. Might not be this Adam. Although I think you're interested in that sexy, hot, short guy."
Syril's face twisted in disgust.
'Raja, one more word from you, and I swear I'll find a way to remove you from my head!'
It didn't stop Raja from laughing maniacally though.
