More students were running for their lives, desperately trying to escape the undead students chasing them from every direction.
Meanwhile, instructors were deliberately firing handguns and rifles at their now-undead students.

"But some zombie girls are definitely running, while the boys are only walking," Mike added, keeping an eye on the undead approaching the students desperately trying to reach the gymnasium for shelter.

"Everyone outside has probably been bitten."

"If you open these doors, you're putting my life and everyone else's in here at risk."
"But we can't just abandon them!"
"Then are you and your lapdog going to take responsibility for the deaths of everyone in here if those who have already been bitten get inside?"
Diane and Noire continued arguing until another group finally decided to intervene.
"You wouldn't mind getting out of my way, would you?"
Natalie grabbed one of Dex's henchmen, Frank, by the collar and threw him to the floor before kicking one of the metal roll-up doors, forcing it slightly open.
"Putting our lives in danger is something we can decide for ourselves," Natalie said as students outside rushed into the gymnasium, followed by a few undead.
"And you can leave the undead to us."
Elizabeth took down the first undead with a single strike to the head using her wooden katana.
Alexa followed with a roundhouse kick that knocked another undead back outside, while Jun took down the last one with his baseball bat.
"We've got more equipment for anyone who wants to fight."
Evelyn came rushing over with Carol, Kyle, and Gian, carrying more wooden swords and staffs used for combat practice, along with bows and arrows from the school's marksmanship training.
Seeing most of her classmates siding with Diane and Natalie, Noire only grew more irritated.
"Don't think I'm going to agree with this so easily, Natalie," she muttered, signaling Dex and his henchmen to make a move.
However, they immediately stopped when they saw Ren standing behind Natalie.
"You've done enough, Nat," Ren said, patting Natalie on the head.
"Leave the rest to those of us who can fight."
"Don't casually touch me, perv!" Natalie exclaimed, quickly distancing herself from Ren with a flushed face.
She awkwardly walked toward Evelyn's group and grabbed a bow and quiver of arrows.
"I can fight on my own, too."
"Pair up and take down the undead while watching each other's backs. We'll clear the path for everyone else heading this way!"
Following Ren's instructions, those willing to fight headed outside in groups.
Elizabeth paired with Evelyn, Tristan with Marcus, Arthur with Kyle, and Jun with Alexa.
Meanwhile, Natalie, Diane, and Gian stayed by the main entrance, firing arrows at the approaching undead.

"You combat freaks can handle the undead just fine!" Karl shouted, showing no intention of going outside.
"We'll handle those who seem to have been bitten!" Mike added while restraining several students with a rope, binding their hands behind their backs and covering their mouths.
"And you seem to be doing fine on your own!"
Ivan gave Ren one last cheer before completely ignoring him.

Despite Ren's complaints about having to fight on his own, Elizabeth eventually rushed to his side, making Tristan glare daggers at him.
Their group continued fighting the undead, clearing a path for the other students and their instructor behind them—until they finally noticed a danger approaching that they couldn't handle on their own.
"Hurry and get anything you can use to barricade the doors!" Diane shouted upon seeing the horde of undead approaching from behind Natch's group.
"Ren, you idiot!" Natalie shouted, calling out to Ren, who was farther ahead.
"Everyone, get back inside!"
At Ren's command, their group rushed back into the gymnasium, followed closely by Natch's group.
"I knew you guys were doing great!" Natch said, greeting his students with a confident grin as soon as he entered, still carrying Lilia over his shoulder.
And we knew you were having a good time with her in this situation!

"We don't have time for that!" Noire shouted in panic when she saw the undead horde catching up with the other students following Natch, devouring several of them.
"Start closing the doors, you morons!"
Without a second thought, Dex's group began closing the metal roll-up doors, leaving behind the students who had failed to catch up.
