In the bustling streets of Suotuo City, Su Yan guided his group out of the Rose Hotel. After thinking for a moment, he decided they should find a carriage to travel in comfort. Once they found one, the group began their journey toward the quiet outskirts of the city. As they rode along, Zhu Zhuqing looked at Ah Yin with a bit of a frown.
She jokingly told Aunt Ah Yin that she had become quite mischievous, wondering how someone so kind could say such teasing things. Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu also felt a little embarrassed. They wondered if they were really going to watch a public display of everyone's secrets, starting with the Administrator himself.
Su Yan sent a message to the group chat telling everyone to get their tea and snacks ready. He explained that they were heading to a quiet spot outside the city where he would briefly awaken his second Spirit.
He promised that once he was finished, their gossip class for the day would finally begin. This message left everyone in the chat very confused. Bibi Dong asked about a second Spirit, while Bo Saixi wondered why he was still awakening Spirits at his age.
I Am an Orphan asked if he was opening his power again, and Liu Erlong joked that his power never seemed to be closed in the first place. Tang Yuehua and Zhang Lexuan were curious and asked if he could record a video for them to see, which Ning Rongrong promised to handle easily.
They soon arrived at a secluded patch of grass far from the city noise. Su Yan sat down on the ground with his legs crossed, feeling a surge of excitement. In his heart, he gave the command to awaken his second Spirit.
Suddenly, a loud sound of thunder echoed through the sky. Dark clouds moved in quickly, and the rolling thunder made the air feel heavy and tight. Zhu Zhuqing and the others stood back and watched Su Yan with wide eyes. They were all very curious to see what kind of Spirit would appear.
Ling Yuan frowned as she looked at the sky and asked why it had suddenly become so dark and cloudy. Ah Yin and the rest of the girls shook their heads, as they did not have an answer. Ning Rongrong grabbed her jade mirror and took a photo of the stormy sky to share with the group chat.
While the group was feeling confused by the weather, a bright golden light suddenly burst from Su Yan's body. The light was so strong that it was hard for anyone to see clearly. It was even bright enough to light up the dark, overcast sky. Loves Eating Carrots posted a message saying she remembered seeing this strange weather and golden light once before in Nuoding City.
She realized that the light back then must have come from Su Yan as well. Tang Yuehua pointed out that the man in the video was literally glowing, while Liu Erlong wondered how a simple Spirit awakening could cause such a massive reaction from the universe. Bo Saixi noted that she felt a divine presence descending, suggesting that Su Yan's second Spirit must be incredibly powerful.
As the golden light slowly faded, Su Yan's new form was finally revealed to the group. He was now possessed by his Spirit and looked like a powerful warrior. He was dressed in shiny Silver Armor and held a weapon called a Three-Pointed, Double-Edged Halberd. Most surprisingly, a vertical third eye had appeared right in the middle of his forehead.
Everyone was completely stunned. Zhu Zhuqing and her friends could not believe what they were seeing. They wondered if it was a Tool Spirit, but they were confused about why he had grown an extra eye. In the group chat, Ning Rongrong posted a picture of Su Yan's new appearance.
The chat went wild with questions. Call Me Her Majesty the Empress jokingly asked why Su Yan was copying her by growing a third eye. Others wondered what kind of Spirit it could possibly be. Bibi Dong observed that the weapon seemed to be part of the possession rather than a separate tool.
Dark Avenger suggested it might be a Body Spirit, which is when a person awakens a part of their own body. Ma Xiaotao agreed, noting that while Body Spirits were not around ten thousand years ago, they existed in their current world. However, Zhang Lexuan pointed out that Body Spirits usually do not come with weapons or a phantom image during possession.
Su Yan was very happy because he felt he was finally strong enough to awaken the Spirit he truly wanted. He sent a long, poetic description to the group chat describing his Spirit's majestic appearance. He described a hero with bright eyes, a special cap, and a yellow robe.
He mentioned how this hero once split a mountain to save his mother and was famous for his many transformations. Su Yan then officially revealed the title of his Spirit: True Lord of Qingyuan Miaodao. He told them they could also call the Spirit God Erlang or the Judicial Heavenly God. He joked that everyone should remember the names carefully.
Bibi Dong realized that Su Yan had awakened a powerful God from another world that he held in his heart. Bo Saixi asked if the weapon and the extra eye were just accessories that came with the Spirit, similar to how a monkey Spirit might have a golden staff. Bibi Dong confirmed this was true, just like how high-ranking Angel Spirits come with a sacred sword. The girls in the chat all agreed that Su Yan looked very handsome in his new form.
Nearby, the Little Monkey was jumping around with joy. It seemed to recognize the Spirit because it had heard Su Yan talk about it many times before. The monkey hopped onto Su Yan's shoulder, making happy noises, before turning into a streak of light and flying away. Ning Rongrong walked up to Su Yan and asked him just how powerful his new Spirit really was.
Su Yan smiled and told them it was a Mutated Spirit that had reached the very limit of what the world could handle. With a simple wave of his hand, he turned his weapon into a fan, his third eye disappeared, and the Spirit possession ended.
Xiao Wu was curious about where the Little Monkey had gone in such a hurry. Su Yan laughed a little and explained that the monkey thought he was still missing something, so it had rushed off to the Star Dou Great Forest to catch some Spirit Beasts for him.
The news left the group speechless. Su Yan then told the group chat that the awakening was over and it was time for the gossip he had promised. He said he was going to start with a story that would cause a huge stir at Shrek Academy. He specifically asked Ma Xiaotao if she was ready for what he was about to say.
In the second world of the Douluo Continent, Ma Xiaotao felt very confused. She wondered why Su Yan was singling her out when there were other people from Shrek Academy in the chat. Zhang Lexuan and Tang Ya also thought it was strange.
Su Yan told Ma Xiaotao to take a deep breath and relax, warning her that she might feel dizzy. He then began to describe a very mysterious and powerful person.
He listed off this person's shocking family connections: his grandfather was a High Priest, his grandmother was a Sect Master, and even his girlfriend and teacher held high positions in the evil Holy Spirit Cult. Su Yan finished by asking the group if that wasn't the most exciting news they had ever heard.
