Hello guys,
Some of you have been wondering why I haven't been uploading new chapters lately. The truth is, I simply couldn't bring myself to continue the later parts of the story.
I genuinely wanted to keep writing this novel, but the darkness shown in the recent chapters is only a small glimpse of what was planned ahead. I wanted to create even more gore, psychological tension, and emotional depth, but I just couldn't find the right inspiration to execute it properly.
No matter how many times I tried to move the plot forward, I kept running into problems — inconsistencies, logical errors, and plot issues that made the story feel forced rather than natural.
So after countless attempts, I finally came up with a new idea.
This time, Fang Yuan will be the main character again — but not in the same plot as Reverend Insanity. Instead, he will enter an entirely new world with a fresh storyline. Don't worry, though. I know Reverend Insanity is peak fiction, and I have no intention of ruining what made it great. Rather than blindly following the original plot, this story will allow Fang Yuan to develop naturally in a completely different setting.
If you're interested, feel free to check out my new novel. It's not exactly a fanfic, but since I'm using Fang Yuan's name and character along with other novel's world building, I'll still keep it under the fanfiction section so more readers can discover it.
The darkness in this new novel may feel different from the current one, but I can confidently say that, in the long run, this story will be far better and much more consistent with continuous updates.
