Every screen monitored a suspected criminal. Each was confined in a separate small room, strapped to a leather bed, with their bodies connected to various machines, and surrounded by all kinds of mechanical arms, prepared to operate on them. These criminals were too dangerous, and the Immortal Committee decided against allowing staff to interact with them directly, opting instead to use mechanical arms.
Warden Song Yin sat in front of a heap of screens, glancing at the dozens of criminals, then looking at the basket of newly arrived drugs beside him.
