"What are you looking at, you ugly bastards?" Grendel mocked, laughing a dry, raspy laugh.
"Jealous?"
"Your master likes me better than you grunts!"
"We are friends!"
Purely out of spite, just to make the guards angry, Grendel threw his head back and shoved the glowing pill directly into his mouth right in front of their eyes.
"There! It's mine!" Grendel laughed, pointing a bony finger at the seething guards.
Two seconds passed, and nothing happened. Ten seconds passed and still nothing. Grendel was starting to doubt that this boiy was just messing with him, and the bandits were about to snicker, but then suddenly Grendel felt something.
"Oh..." Grendel gasped, his hands flying to his throat. "Oh god..."
Grendel collapsed onto the stone floor.
"BY THE GODS!!!" Grendel screamed. It was an agonizing, blood-curdling shriek of absolute torture.
The pill didn't heal him gently or wrapped him in a warm Qi of regenerative mana.
