Having ended the call with Lin Xi, Chen Xiao returned to Li Hui's side.
Li Hui was still busy.
Seeing that Chen Xiao had finished helping, he thanked with a smile:
"Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Chen. I didn't expect to trouble you again this time."
Chen Xiao shook his head, "It's only right, as long as Captain Li doesn't feel I've caused you any trouble."
"Nonsense! There's been a murder, what does that have to do with you!"
"Who says it's unrelated? The previous case with Chen Xianzu was because of me, and now the person who's dead is closely related to me as well. Captain Li, don't you suspect me?" Chen Xiao asked with a smile.
Li Hui immediately let out a wry smile:
"A murder has occurred, that's beyond our control. It's just a coincidence that you know the deceased."
Li Hui continued making polite conversation, while Chen Xiao thought for a moment and said:
"Did you see that big bruise on the deceased's abdomen?"
