Chapter 462 - Chapter 183: Little Sirius: The Vicious Slytherin Woman!

Ron nodded, lightly kicked the broom with his foot, and the broom shot up like a rocket.

"Woaaaaah!" He let out an earth-shattering shout, holding onto the broom tightly without letting go.

But it must be admitted that Ron's flying skills were pretty good; at least under such circumstances, he didn't get shaken off the broom.

"What position do you think he should apply for?" Wood asked Harry, shading his eyes with his hand.

Though he's the captain of the Gryffindor Team, he has to listen to the opinions of Harry, who always led them to victory as the Seeker.

"Goalkeeper?" Harry said to Wood. "You'll graduate next year, Oliver. Gryffindor will need a goalkeeper, won't it?"

"You're making a valid point, Harry." After seriously considering it, Wood agreed, "Let's first see if he has the potential for being a goalkeeper, what do you think?"

"Yeah, okay." Harry nodded.

It didn't take long for Ron to get used to the Light Wheel 2000; he could now freely perform tricks in the air.

"Look, Harry, Hermione!" Ron called cheerfully, "Look at me, look at me—"

"Fred, George!" Wood waved at the two of them, "Come over here."

Fred and George walked over, chuckling, "Our esteemed captain, what are your orders?"

"I need you to test the potential of our backup goalkeeper," Wood pointed to Ron, who was flying and flipping not far away, "You see, it's him."

"Which one?"

Fred and George shaded their eyes, looking in the direction Wood pointed, and saw Ron.

"You mean, our Little Ronnie?"

The twins showed an evil grin.

"Yes, it's Ron." Wood hadn't realized the severity of the situation yet, "Though you're the team's Batters, I think now you can play the role of Chaser—Now, you two are responsible for getting the Ghost Flying Ball into the goal—"

As soon as the words left his mouth, the twins whooshed up into the sky.

"Looks like they really hope their youngest brother joins the team." Wood grinned at Harry, "Despite not being keen on practice, they're not refusing to take on the Chaser role—"

"No," Harry said with certainty, "I think they're just looking forward to the thrill of tormenting Ron..."

Just as he finished speaking, Ron let out a wail.

"Waaah!"

George had swung his arm and threw the Ghost Flying Ball onto Ron's stomach.

"Sorry, too high!" George whistled and shouted to Ron.

Ron angrily threw the Ghost Flying Ball down, and Fred, without saying a word, aimed a throw at Ron's butt.

This time Ron was prepared; he lifted his leg to block the incoming Ghost Flying Ball.

"Is that all?" He shouted, "Have you eaten? Copycats?"

Fred and George heard Ron's words and hovered in mid-air.

They exchanged glances, speaking in unison, "Looks like our Little Ronnie isn't very impressed..."

"...Then let's show him what it means to respect big brothers." They said again.

They started moving separately, flanking Harry from left and right.

"Hey, aren't they supposed to be Batters?" Angelina suspiciously looked at Wood, "Why are they doing the Chaser's job so well?"

"Or perhaps the thought of teaching their brother has overwhelmed them." Harry succinctly remarked.

As it turned out, Harry was indeed correct; the twins began playing tricks constantly pouring balls into Ron's goal.

However, Ron's growth was rapid, initially only watching the twins score, but towards the end, he could occasionally block a few.

"Quite the impressive performance." Wood didn't hesitate to give applause and praise to Ron.

Bear in mind, training is not the same as an actual match, and this was two against one—in training, there are no external distractions, like a Wandering Ball or Batters, it was just them amusing themselves with Ron the goalkeeper.

Being able to occasionally block a few goals was already an excellent performance; even Wood himself couldn't guarantee blocking many goals under the hands of two unobstructed Chasers.

"Then it's decided." Wood finalized, patting the bruised Ron on the shoulder, "From now on, you practice with us as the backup goalkeeper, and when I have something to do, or… after I graduate next year, you can take over, Little Weasley."

"Can I really, Captain Wood?" Ron asked excitedly, thinking he wouldn't pass.

"Of course you can." Wood laughed, "You've done really well; against two unobstructed Chasers, occasionally blocking a few goals, if I could give you a score, I'd undoubtedly give you an 'O'."

"Then I really hope Hogwarts offers a Quidditch class." Ron laughed carefreely, "Then I can earn another 'O'."

However, that's impossible; there's no way Hogwarts would offer a Quidditch class, right?

After lunch, Harry was called away by Dumbledore to attend the Ministry of Magic's hearing on Peter Pettigrew.

They apparated to a spot next to a phone booth.

"This is the place." Dumbledore whispered, "See that phone booth? You go in first."
