Before anyone knew, the next day arrived as usual.
Through the opened windows, sunlight shone on Caterine's body, making her flinch her eyelids.
The world outside was following the normal routine, cars rushing to their destinations, people running to meet the deadlines.
Yawns~
Little Catherine slowly opened her eyes first.
There was still a bit of fear on her face for what reality may actually bring today.
She did not immediately get out of the bed, but looked at the ceiling absent-mindedly, because of yesterday's confrontation, her mood was downcast.
Remembering the pieces of verbal spat with her main personality in which she conceded in the end, she gritted her teeth.
"She was serious, huh?"
Her mouth still uttered a hoarse sense of melancholy.
The threat was not new, it had always been there, but because she for the first time tried to cross the line initially agreed upon, it hung over meek existence like an invisible blade on her neck .....so closer.
