Three Months Later
"No, wait, stop. No, stop, let me go please, no, let me go," Mylo whimpers grievously, waving his hands and writhing his legs against the bedsheets.
He thrashes around the bed frantically, tears rolling out of his closed eyes.
Royce wakes up and immediately switches on the bedside lights in their bedroom, the usual worry etching on his forehead as he watches his mate with a heart sickness that did not have a cure.
"Baby?" Ryker, who had woken up as well, tries to wake Mylo up from his consistent nightmares.
A day has not passed since they returned from Western Lantern City that Mylo does not have a nightmare. He has it every night, screaming, panicking, crying.
"Pretty?" Royce joins in, shaking Mylo slowly awake, "Wake up, please."
"Hey," Ryker gently pats on Mylo's cheeks, causing him to jolt awake with wide eyes, his breath coming in jagged gasps.
