Upon hearing Miu's request, I froze. Depending on the choice I make here, our relationship could change forever. Of course, I know Miu is sleepy and definitely doesn't mean that we're going to do anything beyond sleeping.
She knows we're far too young for something like that.
Even so, sleeping together is a huge step. For a man and a woman to sleep together, if they aren't family, is something very serious. Especially in Japanese culture.
"That would be..." I said, not really knowing what to say.
Miu smiled at me and said, "Come on, it's okay. Just stay until I fall asleep. After that, you can go back to your room."
"You're asking me to lie down in bed with you."
"Yeah, so what? We're friends. It's fine. Come on, if you don't, I won't be able to fall asleep~~" Miu said before letting out a long yawn. I stared at her for a few seconds before sighing.
"Fine. Move over a little."
Miu scooted closer to the wall, and I sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Like this is okay, right?"
"Hm? But you haven't lied down yet~~"
"Ugh..."
I scratched my head and said, "Ah, screw it."
I gave up thinking too much about it and lay down on the bed beside Miu. However, I turned my back to her. Miu pulled the blanket over me and fell silent. The only thing I could hear was her breathing.
Without saying anything, I closed my eyes as well.
A few minutes passed.
"Mom..." I heard Miu mumble in her sleep. Then she wrapped one of her arms around me, hugging me from behind as if I were a stuffed animal. Her breasts pressed gently against my back.
My heart started racing, but after Miu murmured "Mom" several more times and began crying in her sleep, every impure thought disappeared from my mind.
I placed my hand over hers and smiled.
"It's okay. I'm here."
I closed my eyes and decided to wait a little longer.
But in the end, I fell asleep.

Pov: Third-Person
Haruna slowly opened her eyes. She noticed that Robert had already gotten up and left for work, so it was probably past seven in the morning. She went to the bathroom, washed her face, and brushed her teeth.
She went downstairs and prepared breakfast. Before she knew it, it was already 8:00 AM.
"Kyo still hasn't come downstairs. He's usually up early. He must've stayed up late last night. He probably played video games with Miu until dawn." Haruna sighed and headed upstairs.
She stopped in front of Kyo's room and knocked lightly on the door.
If he were awake, he would have heard it, so he was probably still asleep.
However, because Kyo had suffered from very serious health problems as a child, Haruna always opened the door to make sure he was okay, even when she knew he was sleeping. But when she opened the door...
"He's not here. Did he go out? I'm sure there aren't any recordings scheduled today. He didn't tell me he had a meeting either."
Then Haruna remembered Miu.
"She must be sleeping in Kyo's office, right?"
A bad feeling began to creep over her.
"Don't tell me..."
She quickly walked to the next door and flung it open.
What she saw was Kyo and Miu sleeping under the blanket, embracing each other. The moment she saw them, Haruna's heart stopped for an instant.
However, she noticed there weren't any clothes on the floor, and they both appeared to be fully dressed.
Phew...
She let out a sigh of relief.
Just then, Kyo opened his eyes.
"Mom?"
"Kyo, what are you doing here?"
"Ah, Miu asked me to stay with her until she fell asleep, and I ended up falling asleep too." Kyo rubbed his face with both hands before glancing to the side. His eyes met Miu's, which were now wide open.
"You're awake too?" Kyo asked with a smile.
Miu couldn't say a word. Her face turned as red as a tomato, and she shoved Kyo off the bed with both feet as hard as she could.
"Hey! That hurt!" Kyo shouted.
"That's what you get for sneaking into my bed while I was asleep!"
"Kyo!?" Haruna exclaimed in shock.
"It's a misunderstanding. You asked me to lie down with you last night. Don't you remember?"
Still blushing furiously, Miu finally remembered.
"Oh... right..."
"See?" Kyo looked at his mother.
"Fine. Go back to your room now, Kyo. I want to talk to Miu for a bit."
"About what?"
"It's a conversation between two women. Stay out of it."
"Alright, alright."
Before leaving, however, Kyo turned to Miu and asked,
"How are you feeling? Do you feel better?"
"Ah? Uh? Y-Yeah?"
She still hadn't recovered from the embarrassment.
"Good." Kyo found her reaction amusing and smiled.
After Kyo left the office and Haruna closed the door behind him, Miu's face grew even redder.

After Kyo left the office, Miu sat up on the bed and hid behind the blanket. Haruna looked at her with a very serious expression.
Then Miu asked,
"Are you mad?"
Hearing the question, Haruna replied,
"Of course I am. You slept together with my son."
"But we didn't do anything! I swear!"
"I know. Even so, it was incredibly irresponsible. You two aren't even dating yet."
"So that's the problem?"
"Of course. The fact that you're only thirteen is also a problem. I don't want the two of you doing something like this, at least not until you're old enough."
"..."
"What is it?"
"You know I like Kyo, don't you?"
"Yes. That's obvious." Haruna let out a sigh.
"Do you think I'm good enough for Kyo?"
Hearing Miu's question, Haruna looked at her seriously before answering,
"No. You're not good enough."
