Chapter 38 - The Domain

As Sam and Kito stepped into the dimly lit chamber, a chill ran down their spines. The air was thick with an oppressive silence, broken only by the distant echo of growls and snarls from the hidden creatures lurking within the shadows. Their previous encounters had already drained them, each having lost two lives in their perilous journey, but nothing could prepare them for this moment. Before them loomed a colossal figure, its massive frame dwarfing the dilapidated throne it occupied. The 20-meter-tall monster, with grotesque features and piercing eyes that seemed to glow in the dark, sat unnaturally still, exuding an aura of calm that was deeply unsettling. Surrounding it were treacherous creatures of all shapes and sizes, their eyes gleaming with malice as they awaited their master's command. The walls of the maze-like space were a tapestry of endless darkness, swallowing any light that dared to enter. As Sam's heart raced, he glanced at Kito, whose expression mirrored his own – a mix of dread and determination. They knew they had to confront this boss, the holder of the key they desperately needed, but the sense of impending doom hung heavily in the air. Each step forward felt like a step deeper into the abyss, as if the very maze were attempting to consume them. They braced themselves, readying their weapons, aware that escaping this nightmare would require more than just strength; it would require cunning, bravery, and perhaps a little bit of luck. The game was about to begin, and the stakes had never been higher.

Sam readied his weapon to attack. Kito was emotionless as he was no human. The maze spoke, " This is your last challenge. If you beat him, you will get the key".

The monster stood up, it had no clear face, lowered its back and hand near its legs, and it suddenly disappeared. Sam and Kito became alert, in a flash, it was behind them, lowering its head, breathing on their leg, before they even moved, it swung its hand, squishing Kito into nothing. Sam escaped. Sam was left to shook it took only a second to kill. Kito respond again and was bewildered by the monsters power but Kito was not scared he was excited and smiled sinisterly to the monster, as Kito moved fast toward the monster with great speed, the monster jumped up, there is no selling only darkness and grabbed into the wall of monster crashing them in the process, Kito jumped into the wall of monster to reach him, the monsters tried to eat he escaped or crashed them with his bare hands, the monster jumped toward Kito trying to crash him with his body but Kito was not going by and jump toward the monster, they were both in mid air, the monster tried to catch Kito but dodged it and climbed through the monsters hands reached the neck and used his bare hand to tore through the skin without a balancer the monster fell in the ground. He shook Kito out of his neck.

The monster was about to crash into Kito again.

The monster fist was about to crash into Kito, but something hit the monster's upper torso. It was Sam with his dagger, stabbing the monster, electrocuting it. Kito escaped.

Sam and Kito were standing side by side,

Sam was about to say something, but Kito did not listen to word Sam said and moved toward the monster with fierce, the monster crouched and jumped as high as it can and use it body crash into the ground to kill them but Sam and Kito dodged it by climbing the monstrous wall and manging to kill the monster in the wall and dodge their attacks.

Daniel struggled to catch his breath as the mountain's debris rained down around them. The air was thick with dust and chaos, but he couldn't afford to hesitate. The monster, momentarily distracted by the explosion, was reloading its bow with malicious intent."Alex, we have to move!" Daniel hissed, pulling his friend away from the wreckage just as another arrow whistled through the air, embedding itself in the stone wall behind them. They darted deeper into the shadows of the mountain, their hearts pounding in unison. Echoes of the creature's guttural growls reverberated through the narrow crevices. Daniel glanced over his shoulder; the three-eyed monster was relentless, its sharp gaze searching for them. As they manoeuvred through the jagged rocks, Alex stumbled, a sharp pain shooting through her ankle. "Daniel, I can't—" she gasped, her eyes wide with fear. "Keep going! We can't stop now!" Daniel urged, dragging Alex to safety behind a cluster of boulders just as the monster loomed over them, its three eyes gleaming with hunger. "Where is the exit?" Alex whispered, panic creeping into her voice. "I don't know, but we'll find it!" Daniel replied, his heart racing as the monster's grotesque figure began to approach. The creature tilted its head, a twisted grin forming as it relished their fear. Suddenly, the ground shook as another arrow shot into the air, but this time, it arced above them and struck a nearby cliff. The rocks began to crumble, sending a cascade of debris tumbling down. "Run!" Daniel shouted, and they bolted out from their hiding place, adrenaline fueling their desperate escape, and the echoing roars of the monster haunted them. As they dashed for what they hoped was an exit, Daniel could feel the beast's breath on his neck—a chilling reminder of the horror that lurked just behind them.

 AFTER A FEW HOURS:

Both teams had ended the monster's life, but at the cost of all their life remaining with only their own, but suddenly the ground started to shake.
