After Yuna left the room, she walked through the cold hospital corridor. Her thoughts were jumbled, wondering in silence:
"Really... why did their attitude suddenly change?"
She remembered something she had read before in one of the webtoon stories. The heroines would go back in time and make the family feel regret. But this is me... I'm not Yuna anyway.
That's right. I'm Yoonji. Not that girl who used to beg for their love.
She raised her head and looked ahead. Suddenly, she saw a familiar face. It was the old woman, sitting in her wheelchair at the end of the corridor, looking at the sky through the large window. Sadness was heavy on her face, and loneliness filled her eyes.
Yuna felt something move inside her. Maybe I can help her... just as she helped me earlier.
She approached her and said: "Ma'am..."
The old woman turned, and when she realized it was Yuna, she smiled faintly. She said in her frail voice:
"You're still in the hospital?"
Yuna replied: "Actually... I'll stay only one more day, no more. Tomorrow I'll leave."
The old woman looked at Yuna with a lost gaze, as if searching for something she couldn't find.
Yuna asked curiously: "Ma'am... is something on your mind? Or do you want me to do something?"
The old woman looked at her for a moment, then said: "You're really sharp."
She paused briefly, then continued: "Actually... I want to go up to the roof. I want to see the stars more closely."
Yuna smiled: "Okay. If that's all..."
Then she gently carried the old woman's wheelchair and took her up to the roof. There, under the open sky, Yuna pointed upward:
"Look... those stars. I think it's a beautiful night."
The old woman looked at the sky, then asked in a faint voice: "Will I ever be able to leave the hospital?"
Yuna looked at her for a moment, then said confidently: "Yes. You will definitely recover. And you will live with your son."
The old woman smiled a sad smile: "Yes... perhaps that day will come."
The Next Day
Yuna sat beside her bed and looked at the TV on the table. She said in a faint voice:
"I have to go back to that horrible house again. I really hate it."
But the sound of footsteps interrupted her. Mr. Kim entered the rooftop, his face looking less tense than usual.
He said as he approached: "Yuna, I spoke with your school principal. You can be absent for up to two weeks, as you wish."
Yuna looked at him coldly but didn't respond.
Mr. Kim stood looking at her with a mix of worry and tension, but he finally spoke. He said:
"Do you remember when you told me you wanted to travel to Paris with your friends?"
Yuna looked at him in surprise. The original Yuna must have said that. She didn't know about this.
Mr. Kim, looking a bit flustered, said: "I've booked tickets to Paris with your friends for next month. It will be a trip... so prepare yourself."
Yuna was surprised: "What? I don't want to..."
But he had already left the place, leaving her confused.
Yuna muttered angrily: "This old man really annoys me. I don't want to travel to Paris. I want to stay in Korea. I'm comfortable as I am."
The guard came to tell her the car was ready. She went downstairs, thinking about saying goodbye to the old woman, but she hesitated. Maybe there's no need for unnecessary things.
After getting into the car, Yuna began thinking about the coming days. She felt strangely relieved not to be going to school. At least she wouldn't see those girls for a while.
The driver said: "Madam, we have arrived."
She thanked the driver and entered the mansion. The place was almost empty. The house was truly unusual... but she wished it were like before. At least she knew how to deal with bitter cold, more than this suspicious warmth.
She entered her room. Everything was as she had left it. Nothing had been moved. White walls, simple furniture, as if time hadn't passed.
She sat at the desk and began flipping through the old diary pages. She was gathering her courage to read what the original Yuna had written.
There was nothing special at the beginning. Ordinary pages about school days, about boredom, about loneliness.
But suddenly... her eyes fell on one of the pages.

February 27
"Today, my personal driver hit a woman. I had to bring that lady to the hospital. But she... she died. I tried everything I could to save her, but I couldn't.
The driver was imprisoned. But the problem... the problem is that that lady's daughter thinks I was the one who tried to save her mother. Because I was the one who brought her to the hospital. So she thinks she owes me.
I really don't know what to do...
What should I do? Should I continue lying?
I feel sad. Am I wrong in this?
Maybe it's okay, really. Who knows the truth anyway?
I'm starting to feel really guilty. It's troubling."
Yuna's eyes widened as she read. Her heart began to beat fast. What did this mean?
Suddenly, she heard the guards shouting from outside.
"What's happening?"
Yuna quickly got up and forcefully opened the door. What she saw made her freeze in place.
The Intruder
All the guards were lying on the ground. No one was standing. The mansion was completely empty. The family members were not present. And her arms hadn't healed yet; she was unable to fight.
And in the middle of the large hall, there was a young man.
He was wearing formal black clothes, carrying a long sword on his back that she couldn't quite make out. His hair was chestnut-colored, and his black eyes were strikingly beautiful. It was clear he was not an ordinary person.
Yuna looked at him cautiously. Was he one of that man's companions who had attacked her and broken her arm?
Suddenly, the young man raised his hand and smiled. He said in a calm voice:
"Hello, Miss Yuna."
Yuna's eyes widened. How did he know my name?
But she didn't show her fear. She asked coldly: "Who are you?"
The young man smiled faintly, then said:
"Sorry, perhaps I gave the wrong impression. I'm not an enemy. I'm a bodyguard."
The guards lying on the ground looked at each other in confusion. One of them said in a trembling voice:
"This person... I don't understand what he's saying!"
Yuna suddenly realized. He's speaking Japanese. That's why no one can understand him.
Inside, she was quickly analyzing the situation:
"I've dealt with many Japanese people in my past life. I have experience, and I can understand some of what he says. But this person is certainly not ordinary. Looking at the precision of his strikes... all the guards fell from a single blow to a specific spot. He's at a terrifying level."
Then she added in her thoughts:
"Even that person from last time... he wouldn't even be able to touch this man's hair."
The young man looked at Yuna, as if he had read her thoughts. He suddenly said:
"Oh... sorry. I forgot I was speaking Japanese."
Then he switched his language to fluent Korean:
"Do you understand me now?"
An eerie silence prevailed. Then the young man continued, bowing respectfully:
"Let me introduce myself properly. Hello, Miss Yuna. My name is Loki..."
"Sorry, perhaps I gave the wrong impression. I'm not an enemy. I'm a bodyguard for Miss Yuna."
One of the guards interrupted, shouting: "Impossible! Miss Yuna doesn't have any bodyguards!"
The young man looked at the guard in confusion, then said:
"What? I'm sure of the request..."
Yuna looked at the young man with piercing eyes. Who sent him? And who is he really?
