Chapter 51 - CHAPTER 50: Golden Eyes and Pink Tails

đŸșDominic's POV:

It's two days past the chaos of
well, everything. I can still feel it in my bones—the lingering mess of last week, the quiet after the storm. It's January 10th, and the world feels like it's slowly turning back on its usual rhythm. My college reopens today. Final year. Big, scary, stressful—but normal in a way that almost makes me appreciate it. Almost.

Lean's sprawled on the couch, one sock dangling like it's auditioning for a circus act, scrolling on his phone with that smug vampire grin he wears when he's plotting some tiny chaos. Speaking of chaos, he got promoted. Acting manager of the shop. I swear, he doesn't even know what half the stock is, but somehow the owner trusts him because, apparently, college calls her away. Paycheck's bigger too. Honestly, the shop might survive the apocalypse with him at the helm
or it might burn down. Either way, I'm not cleaning it up.

Mom finally gave me my credit card back. Took my dad pushing her after my birthday, but hey, it's in my hand, and I can buy my own stupid things again. No more stealth raids for snacks—or so I tell myself.

Ray's life, on the other hand
hahaha, holy hell. The guy threw a party without inviting his girlfriend, Linda. I mean
what did he expect? She clawed him like some rabid cat possessed by sheer betrayal. Poor guy—he's now sporting bruises in colors I didn't even know existed. And knowing Ray, he'll probably still try to patch things up.

Meanwhile, the news went feral over sightings of a monstrous wolf galloping across the rooftops at night. Citizens are traumatized. Me? I became an overnight sensation. Rumors are spreading like wildfire—some old lady said it had horns like reindeer, some girl swears it had a pink tail with bells around its paws. Lean laughed for a whole damn day.

Lean and I
yeah. We're closer. Ridiculously, annoyingly, comfortably close. I catch him smiling at me for no reason, making me coffee I didn't even ask for, leaving little notes that read like bad poetry
and somehow, it's perfect. Our life is
domestic. Little chaos sprinkled in—he's still a vampire, after all—but domestic. I like it. I like him.

He brushes a hand down my arm and smirks, looking up at me with those golden brown eyes that somehow see right through me. "Don't make me late for work, Dominic Quinn," he says, voice mock-strict.

I laugh, shaking my head. "Yeah, yeah, your little empire waits. Go rule it, acting manager."

He leans up and plants a soft kiss on my cheek—just a kiss, nothing more—and I swear, even that's enough to make my chest tighten. His lips linger like he knows exactly how to tease me without actually starting a fight. He grabs his bag, slings it over his shoulder, and waves one hand dramatically.

"Go get 'em, student-boy," he teases.

I watch him leave for the shop, and then I grab my own bag for college. The day waits, but for the first time in a while, I feel like maybe
everything's exactly where it should be. A little messy, a little chaotic, but ours.

And with that, I head out—half-expecting the universe to throw something insane at me, and half-hoping it'll just let me have this
quiet little slice of life with him.

đŸ‘šâ€đŸ’»Author's Note:

So here my lovely readers this is the end of season two of "How to Tame your Wolfie!!"

What a journey it was! Thank you for being by my side and loving my chaos babies. I'll be going on a hiatus for an unknown time to get some fresh ideas and fight off my exams. But don't worry—I'll be back with more chaos, betrayal, angst, and... I don't know what, hehe!

So anyways, peace from me, Lean, and Dom!
