Chapter 484 - Chapter 484 Takumi, The Hero, Can Have a Day Off Anytime!

"Don't worry, we have plenty of time."

Takumi said with a smile. "Besides, now that Moryo is gone, if you miss me, you can completely come to Konoha to visit me."

Shion's eyes lit up.

'That's right!'

'Now there was no Moryo!'

'Most of the Miko's duties had disappeared.'

'I didn't need to stay in the Land of Demons all the time.'

'I am now a free woman!'

Moreover, she had awakened her own Miko power.

Ordinary people were no match for her.

"By the way, it seemed like you and Koyuki got along quite well."

Takumi said with a smile.

He didn't think there was anything wrong with mentioning another girl in front of one.

"What about it?"

Shion felt a little uncomfortable but suppressed the feeling and asked.

"If you like, you can have her take you along to film movies. Send me the finished product, and I'll be able to see you often."

Takumi said lightly with a smile.

Shion's cheeks flushed even more.

"Um, I'll think about it when I get back." She didn't refuse.

Lowering her head, her gaze caught a black object in the corner of her eye.

Turning her head, she saw a floating camera.

"This is?"

She looked curiously. "Isn't this a camera?"

Suddenly, she remembered the passionate kissing scene with Takumi earlier, and her face flushed even redder, like a freshly boiled prawn.

"J-just, we just, just now..."

She stammered, unable to speak completely.

"It was filmed."

Takumi knew what she wanted to ask and gave a direct affirmative answer.

Seeing Shion's face grow even redder, her eyes even starting to spin, he stopped teasing. "But I won't show it to anyone else."

"Your and my first kiss should be properly treasured. How could I casually show it to others?"

He chuckled lightly, seeing Shion's complexion slightly recover, then shifted the topic. "If you want, it's not impossible to let the Director include this scene."

"No!"

Shion quickly shook her head and waved her hands, doubly refusing. "I don't want that! Just treasure it!"

"Alright, as you wish."

Takumi smiled, then, under Shion's gaze, cut out the kissing segment and carefully sealed it in an empty scroll.

"Give this to me."

Shion snatched the scroll. "If I miss you in the future, I'll watch it."

"Alright then."

Although Takumi wanted to keep it himself as a souvenir, since Shion had this idea, he naturally had to fulfill her wish.

After tidying up, Takumi took Shion and found the main group.

He handed the undamaged camera back to the Director and watched him dance with joy as he reviewed the footage.

Then, when the Director noticed a segment of the tape had been cut and looked at him quizzically, he responded with a gentle smile.

The Director immediately understood and gave an ambiguous smile that only men would get.

Takumi knew he might have misunderstood, but he didn't plan to explain.

Anyway, the tape was with Shion, and the Director didn't seem like someone who would gossip.

"Although Moryo is sealed, I'm still a bit worried."

Takumi said to Kakashi. "I plan to escort Shion-san back to the Land of Demons before returning to Konoha."

"I'll inform Hokage-sama about this."

Kakashi patted Takumi's shoulder, his face full of satisfied smiles. "If it weren't for you, I don't know how this crisis would have been resolved."

"Not at all."

Takumi scratched his head, looking humble and self-blaming. "If it weren't for my rash decision, Sakura and the others wouldn't have been in danger."

"Fortunately, Kakashi-senpai arrived in time, or I would have regretted it for life."

Takumi truly hadn't anticipated that the terracotta soldiers would attack Sakura and the others.

His attention had been focused on the sealed place.

And Sakura had a signal flare. If he saw it, with his speed, he could definitely arrive in time to rescue them.

The problem was, he hadn't expected Sakura not to use the signal flare after being attacked.

After he pressed for an answer in confusion, Sakura replied that she didn't want to delay the main task.

"Your thinking is wrong!"

Upon hearing this, Takumi said to Sakura with a very serious expression. "Completing the mission for Shion-san was our task, but assisting the Director's filming mission was also our task."

"If we fail one mission to complete another, that is the biggest failure for us!"

"As Shinobi, our duty is to do our utmost to complete the missions entrusted to us."

"Of course, we cannot casually sacrifice the lives of our companions. Doing so not only makes you an unqualified Shinobi, but also a failed person!"

Kakashi, listening nearby, couldn't help but scratch his cheek.

When he was young, he had been rejected by all Shinobi for disregarding the lives of his companions.

Suddenly hearing Takumi say this, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt.

Although he knew Takumi wasn't talking about him, he still involuntarily identified with the situation.

"I explicitly instructed you to use the signal flare immediately upon being attacked. Why didn't you use it?"

Takumi's words grew increasingly stern. "We are Konoha's Shinobi. Every mission we undertake represents Konoha's reputation."

"If every time, to complete a more important mission, we ignore another mission or even sacrifice its client, who would dare come to Konoha to issue missions in the future?"

His rebuke made Sakura lower her head.

But Sakura didn't feel sad; instead, she felt a secret joy.

She hadn't completely absorbed Takumi's words.

She only heard what she wanted to hear.

That was that Takumi was very worried about her safety.

This interpretation wasn't entirely wrong.

It was just that Takumi's concern wasn't only for Sakura's safety, but for the entire filming team's safety as well.

After all, it was a mission he had accepted. If the mission failed due to Sakura's judgment, it would be like adding a stain to his record.

He aspired to succeed Hiruzen and become Hokage.

He naturally couldn't let such a stain remain on him.

Otherwise, it would definitely become an excuse for Danzo and those two advisors to obstruct him.

After reprimanding Sakura, Takumi took Shion and Taruho and left, heading towards the Land of Demons.

Kakashi and the others directly returned to Konoha.

After all, Konoha still had a mountain of tasks to handle.

They were all Konoha's Shinobi and couldn't afford to waste time outside right now.

As for Takumi,

He obviously held a different weight in Hiruzen's heart compared to them.

And Takumi had just accomplished such a feat; having a few days off was only right.

Without any hindrance, and also to have more time together.

Taruho drove the carriage slowly.

Inside the carriage, Takumi and Shion cherished their precious time together.
