"I'll kill you!"
Li Yue screamed as she placed the knife right on Zhang Zhiqi's neck.
"Li Yue! Don't!"
His scream got stuck in his throat. Bo Ya tried to run to save Zhang Zhiqi, but his legs were stuck. Like there was something pulling him.
"Li Yue!!!! I won't let you touch A Qi!!!"
He screamed as hard as he could. His throat hurt. It felt like something was being torn. The pain was so piercing and make him dizzy.
"HAHAHAHA...!!! He can't be mine. So nobody could have him!"
Li Yue laugh and stabbed Zhang Zhiqi's neck with her dazzlingly shiny knife.
"A Qiii!!!!!"
Bo Ya screamed with tears streaming down his face.
"Bo Ya. Bo Ya..."
A voice called out. Softly. But Bo Ya continued to sob. He couldn't even say a word about his feelings yet everything was already shattered to pieces.
"Everything's fine. Bo Ya, I'm here."
The voice said softly, persuading.
"A Qi... I'm sorry... I failed to protect you. Protect A Da. Protect Yiran. Please forgive me..."
He said. Still sobbing.
"It's okay. I'm okay. Yiran is okay too."
The voice answered. Bo Ya opened his eyes. It turned out that he was already in Zhang Zhiqi's arms. Bo Ya continued to cry. This time it was louder. He buried his entire face in Zhang Zhiqi's chest.
Zhang Zhiqi gently stroked Bo Ya's back. Trying to calm the man down. He had never seen Bo Ya like this.
Since he was a child, Bo Ya had never shed tears. Seeing Bo Ya like this made Zhang Zhiqi's heart broken. Who knew how much pain the man in his arms was trying to hide.
After Bo Ya calmed down, Zhang Zhiqi gave him a glass of warm milk.
"Thank you."
Bo Ya took the glass from Zhang Zhiqi's hand. He took a few sips of the warm milk and then stopped. His throat hurt.
Bo Ya flinched as soon as Zhang Zhiqi placed his palm on his forehead.
"You have a fever. Let me call Bai Lu for you."
Zhang Zhiqi said and hurriedly got up. Bo Ya quickly pulled Zhang Zhiqi's shirt.
"I'm okay. Don't make it like a big deal..."
Bo Ya flinched again. Zhang Zhiqi's finger was suddenly on his lips.
"Don't be stubborn."
Zhang Zhiqi said. He slowly laid Bo Ya down.
"You're sick, please act like sick people. Don't go against the words of healthy people."
Zhang Zhiqi said as he adjusted Bo Ya's blanket.
"Now get some rest. I'll be back."
He said as he walked away.
Bo Ya was silent. Watching Zhang Zhiqi until the man disappeared.
"Will you treat me this well after you know who I really am?"
Bo Ya pulled the blanket up to his nose.
"I'm sure. You'll hate me just like you hate Li Yue. Maybe even more."
Bo Ya covered his entire face with a blanket.
That night, Bo Ya's body temperature continued rise up and showed no signs of cooling down. Even though he received treatment from Bai Lu, his nightmares continued to drive his body temperature up.
Zhang Zhiqi continued to faithfully accompany him. Changing the damp towel on his forehead to prevent his body temperature from rising. Soothing him when the nightmares disturbed his sleep. Zhang Zhiqi continued to faithfully stay by Bo Ya's side until the morning.
"Ru Yi, Bo Ya is not feeling well. You take care of the children. If there is anything, call me immediately."
Zhang Zhiqi said on the phone.
"Yes Boss."
The answer came from the other end of the line.
The line was disconnected. Zhang Zhiqi returned to focusing on Bo Ya who was still sleeping.
Seven in the morning. Bai Lu came to change the empty IV bag. Also brought breakfast for Zhang Zhiqi.
Meanwhile Bai Lu was there, Zhang Zhiqi take this opportunity to do his unfinished work.
"Boss, you also need to take care of your health. Don't forget to eat your breakfast and rest."
Bai Lu said.
"I'm okay. Don't worry."
Zhang Zhiqi replied, continuing to focus on his laptop.
"I know. But... it's better not to make Bo Ya worry even more."
Zhang Zhiqi stopped and looked up. Staring at Bai Lu's face. He remember his loyal friend for centuries. Zhang Zhiqi smiled. "Like father like son."
"Yes doctor."
Zhang Zhiqi closed the laptop and ate his breakfast. Bai Lu smiled. He and Bo Ya studied at the same headquarters. They shared a room for three years before he continued his studies in the medical department abroad. However, they never broke up. And Bai Lu knew what secret Bo Ya was trying to hide from Zhang Zhiqi and the others.

Bai Lu looked at Bo Ya who was sitting on the edge of the bed while staring at a picture. Slowly, he stole a glance at the picture.
"Your lover?"
Bai Lu asked. Bo Ya was startled. But he regained his composure.
"My sister. This is her boyfriend."
Bo Ya replied introducing each person in the picture.
"Your sister is beautiful. You two seem close."
Bai Lu said as he sat down next to Bo Ya. Bo Ya smiled.
"Yes. We're close. Maybe because we like the same things."
Bo Ya said with a bitter smile.
Ding!
There was a strange feeling as soon as he heard Bo Ya's statement. Bo Ya's fingers seemed to caress the picture of his sister's boyfriend. Make all of his suspicions was true.
"Ehem. Do you want to see the picture of my dear little brother?"
Bai Lu said. Trying to distract Bo Ya. He knew Bo Ya was not happy. Even though he tried hard to look happy.
"Isn't my little brother cute?"
Bai Lu asked, showing Bo Ya a picture of Mu Zhe.
"You said you have a little brother? This..."
Bo Ya asked as he looked at the picture. The picture of Mu Zhe dressed in a girls' school uniform with long black hair that fell past his shoulders. His round face made him even cuter.
"Oh...my mom really wants a daughter. That's why she dressed Mu Zhe like this. If you see him in person, I am sure you'll be fall in love his cuteness."
Bai Lu said proudly. That evening, Bo Ya had to listen to Bai Lu talk about how cute and spoiled Mu Zhe was until he forgot about his melancholia.
Listening to Bai Lu's stories about Mu Zhe was like listening to a fairy tale. Once he started, it was hard to stop. Maybe because of the age gap between them.
Bai Lu really was someone who doting his little brother. He really looked like an older brother with a 'Brother complex'.
Bo Ya smiled. Who was him to judge Bai Lu. He was no less than Bai Lu. If Bai Lu idolized his little brother, Mu Zhe, he also idolized Zhang Zhiqi, his sister's future husband.
