Chapter 115 - Chapter 114: Crows and a Suitcase

Hari Kurono, taking the name Chronostas for this meeting, stood one side of the couch, Mimic on the other, and the boss known as Overhaul in the center, looking at a hand of cards. "So, I take it these are the ones you're going to let join?" Boss asked the villain he was playing with.

"Out of everyone, they were the most eager to work with you." The scraggy man, Shigiraki, pointed to the school girl and the masked man that were right beside him. "And it's not like I'm just going to hand over all my pieces to you until I know exactly what I'm working with."

"Yeah, these guys seem great! Burn them to the ground!' We're so excited to work with you! Take a swan dive off a roof! " They both stared at the villain, then back at Shigaraki.

"You get used to it." The man shrugged, tossing two cards back to the table. "So now that we can chat more privately, there's a few things I wanted to talk about … namely the 'mystery drug' you've been cooking up."

"Ah, so you've caught wind of it already." Overhaul stated, placing the cards on the table. "We've been giving out a few free samples, giving people a small taste to build demand for it." He got out a small container that had a few vials of their latest product. "All For One ruled because he controlled quirks. Let's just say I've fine tuned his method a little."

"A drug that can rid people of quirks … temporarily that is." Shigaraki looked at him.

"We need more resources for the finished product, which your name will yield, and the cure for it … we would have had them already actually if it wasn't for Suzuki." The villains tensed , something they all noticed. "How does it go in finding out which agency he works at?"

"U.A was pretty picky about what heroes could take in students, so we've crossed off a lot of agencies already." The School girl had her eyes narrowed on the boss, almost like she was restraining herself from moving. "Why do you want to find Iru-Suzuki? What did he do to you?"

"I guess you haven't heard of it." The man spoke. "You see, there was a certain incident. It all started on a dock …"

Toya stood with the trash trio, Yu and Soramitsu. The most worthless people on the planet that only one man saw the value in. They were trash alone, but together, they were unbeatable. They were smart, they were strong, they were vicious.

And now they were trusted with this. Rappa and Tengai stood behind as bodyguards in case things got too violent. Given they were dealing with approximately a hundred villains, gathering to discuss and trade objects as a makeshift blackmarket, he agreed on the necessity of extra muscle. "We're sure everything's here?" He asked as the case was being held by a lady with a gun-hand quirk.

The woman in question snapped, a metallic click of a hammer heard as the man with stitches next to her opened a case, showing off the materials. Yu looked them over for a second. "They seem legit, and faking this many materials is actually more effort than gaining them."

"Good, because everything we've made hinges on this." It was the biggest game changer in gang history, one that could turn the tides of both heroism and villainy alike. Or if the boss was to be believed, wipe them out entirely.

"Hey, we didn't do this for nothing." The woman stated. "Where's the money?" He raised his hand to a goon, snatching the unremovable handcuffs off his body, and grabbing the case. He couldn't do the case himself, too big. But he was damn sure no one could ever run away with it.

"Right here, plain as day." He opened it up, seeing the greed in her eyes. As if money was worth anything. Companions were true worth, anything else in life was secondary crap that made you realize how horrible it all is. "So do we have a deal? I'm sure others have stuff to market as well." Apparently they got Rappa pacified cause there was a pair of boxing gloves from the Tiger Cage matches a while back.

"Absolutely." It was going to be great. With this stuff, they can actually become something in this world. They'll be able to rule the city from the shadows, and they'd never, EVER have to worry about bright and sparkly spandex causing them any more trouble. "This is the beginning of a new era…" He reached for the supplies.

Then the case was grabbed out of thin air by a blue haired kid with a cowlick, running away as everyone could only stare dumbfounded. "I'm sorry!" The situation was so ridiculous it actually took a few seconds to process they've just been robbed by a minor.

When they did, fury settled in. "AFTER HIM!"

Damn it, they just HAD to say please, didn't they? Now he was running for his life as he was being shot at. "Get back here brat!" A woman shouted.

"I can't slow down, you'll kill me!"

"That's the point!" People could be so stupid! Why would he ever want to die?! "Why the fuck are you even here! Shouldn't a little bastard like you be in bed somewhere!?"

"I'm not a bastard! My dad is married to my mom!" He yelled back. "And I don't have a bed!"

"Just use larceny and snatch the case back!" Someone shouted. They could stretch their arms?

"It's too big, maybe if someone let me train up my quirk size instead of making me do all their chores, we wouldn't be in this situation!" The blond beak man shouted back. "But I can do this!" Iruma felt something was wrong. Oh no, they stole his shoes and socks! Now he was probably going to get cuts on his feet from running so much!

"What the fuck was that suppose to do!? He's still running!" The lady yelled. Yeah, he tripped a little, but he kept running. It wasn't like it was his first time running barefoot.

"Well last I checked your shooting bullets, and they're doing jack shit bitch!" He screamed back. It was true, he had gotten used to projectiles after that porcupine stabbed him a few times when he was younger.

Out of every job his parents told him to do, this was probably the third, maybe second most dangerous situation he's ever been in. Nothing beats getting eaten by the whale. However, he couldn't run forever, that was a long time. Maybe if he took this corner he could get-"RAPAPAPAPA!" Nope! Crazy bird man punching through metal was a big old nope! He took a right and doubled his booking speed.

Alright, rooftops it was! He started climbing the closet fire escape he could find and began scaling it, not even bothering to pull down the ladders. It was basically a giant monkey bar set, which he only knew about because he had to make one in one of his construction jobs. "Damn it, you bastard, give us the case and we'll only leave half your limbs shattered!"

"I'd like to avoid danger as much as possible!"

"You should have thought of that before you stole something from a hundred armed men!"

"I did, but I had to do this!" Why couldn't he say no!?

"Hey, you've got men! Do any of them have range?"

"BLAGH!" Iruma jumped up, avoiding the blob of magma that would have been where he stood.

"You could damage the case!"

"You wanted range!" These guys were crazy! "It's not like he has anywhere left to go anyways! He's running out of roof!" Yeah, he was, but there was another building up ahead! It was just a simple jump! Just leap ahead, like those wolves and lions did when they were hungry!

"Fuck that!" The blond bird shouted. "Soramitsu, Rappa, tear down the place!" The crazy buff bird began punching his way through the wall, how did he do that without hurting!? The other guy just ate the pillars. Wow, he must have been really hungry if he was able to eat those. Maybe he should try eating rocks again when he goes back to the woods. He couldn't afford to be picky if there was nothing edible around.

"Wait, stop you idiots, you're tearing the ground we're standing..!" The lady tried to warn them, but the ground was cracking and crumbling all over, making them all sink down.

"You see, this is why we leave him with negotiations, and not battle tactics." A thin man spoke, covered in a yellow dome. They were completely unharmed, and must be a tough eggshell to crack.

"Avoid, avoid, avoid!" He didn't have the time to time his jump, he needed to do it and just hope for the best! "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" He wasn't going to make it, he wasn't going to…

"Seriously kid, again?" A guy in a bunny sweater grabbed on to him, sliding across the building as he grabbed him before he hit the ground. "This is like the fifth time this month you've fallen off a building."

"Oh, hey Cruler! Thanks for grabbing me."

"... Crawler … Forget it." The guy sighed as they flew in the air. "So, what's the situation?"

"My parents said to follow crow men and take a suitcase." He explained.

"I see … unfortunately that seems like a dangerous case, i'll take it for ya." He wanted the case? Why? Guess it did look nice. His parents probably wanted what was inside it, so he'll just take it out and give Crueler the case. He deserved a nice gift for saving him so much.

"Okay, I'll just..AHHH!" A bird flew right into his face and knocked him out of Crueler's grip…right into a truck full of sand…it wasn't soft at all. "Ow …" He'd have to double ining himself to get used to landing. Who in their right mind wouldn't train themselves to land?

"Achoo!" He looked at some green haired kid that was sneezing from the sand picked up. "Dang it, I better not have allergies." Poor kid, maybe they should hang out and-oh right, better meet up with Crueler!

"Where the fuck did he go!?" Shouted one of the Yakuza brats. "Did he have a conditional teleporter quirk or some shit?"

"You saw how he was moving, gotta be some kind of speed or fast reflex quirk." The blond one groaned. "How else would he avoid all that gunfire?" He turned to her. "This is all your fault!"

"MY FAULT!?" She couldn't help but scream. "One hundred men, and you can't chase down one little brat!?"

"We bought fifty, you brought fifty! You were holding onto the fucking case!" He shouted back. "Where were they when this all happened? Why do you only have one ranged person that spews out fucking lava!?"

"Why the fuck did you destroy the ground we were fucking standing on!? This is why no one cares about the Yakuza anymore!" She was ten seconds away from filling this guy with lead. "All of you are dumbasses!"

"Hey!" Barrier shouted. "I am not a moron like my associates. And if you insult the Yakuza I will have no choice but to obliterate you." Oh, mr defense wanted to throw hands?

"Don't get into this now! There's one blue headed brat we need to kill now!" The blonde reminded all of them. "We're just lucky this whole building was empty…"

She was blinded by lights and harsh sounds. Slowly opening her eyes she realized that many pro heroes, police officers, and a few helicopters surrounded her. "This is the JPD, put your hands up and surrender!" … She was gonna hate kids until the day she died. The first chance she got, she would kill any brats she came across.

==

"One hundred men arrested, five billion yen recovered by police, and five months worth of materials gone in a single night. All thanks to some brat being where he shouldn't belong. It was condcidered the biggest fuck up in Yakuza history."

Toga knew how serious the situation was, she really did. She knew if she said something wrong, if she let it slip just how much she loved Iruma-kins, these bastards would probably call off whatever deal Tomura wanted to make … but it was IMPOSSIBLE to not laugh at these idiots!

"So your entire operation was halted for months on end because a kid needed a briefcase, and you all couldn't do jack shit to catch him?" She laughed, hitting the ground as the men twitched. Iruma-kins was definitely something else.

"We all make mistakes! No one screws up this badly. It could've happened to anyone! Anyone that isn't a braindead moron. You tried your best! At being the worst criminals of all time." Twice probably wasn't helping, but it made her laugh twice as hard.

"... Do you have any means of apologizing? I opened up and it seemed a bit rude for them to laugh at our misfortune." Overbitch spoke up, hand twitching with his eye.

Shiggy stayed silent for a bit, looking at his latest hand. "We got the name of Suzuki." He stated, putting an end to the laughter.

"I already know his name, Iruma Suzuki." The man reiterated.

"I mean his hero name. Kettei. That's what he goes by. Dresses up in a mask that makes him look like a blue fuzzy wolf." Seemed dangerous to give up that information, but sacrifices needed to be taken if they wanted to get closer for a kill.

Overbitch actually looked at him with wide eyes. "... He was right there …" The man's hands twitched. "I could have killed him right then and there!" Damn it! Looks like her truest love attracted all the villains. "...It's fine…this works out perfectly for us."

"Oh, how so?"

"We've been getting word with an old friend in the police force, at least to the old boss." They raised an eyebrow. "If those heroes attack then Kettei is likely to come straight at us, and we'll be able to both kill him and evacuate unscathed." She twitched.

"Toga can get close and Twice can replicate your fighters to bolster numbers." Shiggy stated. "They'll be invaluable in stopping him." He spoke honestly.

"I suppose so … but I have one more thing to confirm." Overbitch asked as if he was incharge of the already. He pointed to the thug that was standing right by him the entire time.

"How do your quirks work?

"Transform! I can copy someone perfectly, the time depending on how much blood I take, and all my clothes melt off."

"Double! I can clone anything at half durability, as long as I have exact measurements to make a clone!"

"Decay. If I touch something with five fingers it turns to dust."

The three of them blinked, looking in confusion."My quirk is confession, if I ask someone a question they're forced to answer honestly." Damn it, betrayal was impossible. "Did you order them to betray us?"

"No." Shiggy spoke instantly, eyes steady … Did he plan this? Is that why he just said be free and do what you want? "I suppose that's my trust earned. Do I get a look at your own?" The boss displayed his hand, a royal flush.

Overhaul stared at them, removing his glove and touching the table as it turned to dust in the blink of an eye and reshaped itself into a coat rack . "Overhaul, or matter manipulation. If there was one thing my dna donors gave me it was lucky genetics, I guess." Bullshit! That quirk was broken as fuck! Even Kiriwo's magic didn't do anything THIS busted! "I believe we know where we all stand now."

"Of course. We'll be here if you need us." Shiggy got up. "Let me talk to them in private first, and they're all yours." Their leader waved to them as they walked into the hallway. "Alright, attacking him is a no go. If he's crazy enough for a gambit involving this many 'donations' that police may notice, he'll just fix himself with a touch. And Dabi is the only one with the firepower to do any real damage against that." Shiggy whispered, before he pointed at them both. "So play nice, do you hear!?" Shiggy made sure to emphasize the volume of that last part.

"You got it boss! Don't tell me what to do!" Twice at least whispered-shouted that.

"Toga, if Iruma does get involved, don't go crazy. He can avoid danger well enough on his own, so don't start stabbing everyone if he gets a few scratches in the process."

"I promise." One the one side, she'd have a chance to see cute bloody Iruma-kins again! Downside, it wouldn't be her cutting him up! "With his luck, he'll probably take Overbitch down before I can do anything."

"Maybe, but in the meantime, think of this as a side quest. The Yakuza have something valuable we can use for ourselves. Find out what makes those bullets tick. Anything after that I leave entirely up to you."

"I already have an idea what it's made up of." She grinned. "I'd recognize the smell of blood anywhere." Tomura had a glint in his eye.

"Then find whoever it is and convince them to ditch … or kill them." He shrugged. "I wish you well Overhaul, a way to beat the game for both our sakes." He bowed to the man, before walking away. Leaving them with the job … she'd win it for everyone's sake.
