The Royals and Xannathaithen were now on vacation, and were struggling to decide where, since they hadn't been to actual human earth in such a long time and had surely changed from how they had known it back then. The last time they went on vacation was in the 1990s in Victoria. They had spent most of their time relaxing on the beaches, much to the disgust of the civilians at the time. Now it was 7026, where the world was entirely digital and artificial intelligence and all that sort of thing.
When they arrived in Victoria, they were culture shocked by how much it had changed over time. They were comparing photographs and videos they had taken on their phones that year, cringing at everything they had done together, some teasing others about their opinions back then, and so on.
They weren't much different from humans now, except for supernatural abilities. Life expectancy was now optional for humans as well, but they would still die of old age. They had established interstellar communications, which was why their own networks were suffering, and rythennia suddenly had so much more paperwork to do, and Xannathaithen simply sighed, if humans were this advanced, it wouldn't be long before they had to evolve as well.
despite their culture shocks, they had quite a bit of fun teasing humans around them who were stunned beyond belief, rythennia was surrounded by teenage boys trying to ask her out, while Xannathaithen was repeatedly having to warn people not to touch his hair because it was toxic (it would severely burn those of all on lower ranks than him) and they still didn't beleive him until he demonstrated on one of the other royals much to their pained hisses.
The people who had been around Xannathaithen were now driving away down the highway, presumably to "tell the police," but that was useless anyway. The cops knew they couldn't do anything against them.
