An hour went by and Ezekiel and his grandfather were in the dining hall and they had both ate their fill and Ezekiel also explained what happened, during his time in the savannah, to his grandad.
"You surprised me. I thought I would've had to step in a lot earlier." Ezekiel's grandfather said.
"Were you watching me the whole time?" Ezekiel asked.
"Of course, I couldn't just throw you in the deep end without supervising you." Ezekiel's grandfather replied. "But you've gotten a lot stronger than you were a couple weeks ago, but the only issue is that you can't fight."
"I beat two other guys, but the third one was too strong. He said he was a Fushigi like me." Ezekiel defended himself.
"He was weak." Ezekiel's grandfather chuckled.
"No he wasn't. Its only because that I injured his legs once you stepped in, so you thought he was weak, but he was very strong, too strong. Being hit by him felt like I was being hit by a boulder." Ezekiel explained.
"So it sounds to me, he's weak and you're weaker and you have no resistance either." Ezekiel's grandfather laughed.
"Its not funny. He was strong!" Ezekiel's exclaimed. "And I had to fight two guys before that as well and I had to wrestle with a leopard, the same thing would've happened to you if you were in my position!"
"So, what are you trying to say? That you're stronger than me?" Ezekiel's grandfather asked.
"Well… I'm more so saying you're not as strong as you think." Ezekiel replied.
"Well then lets make a deal, if within the next six months you can't land a hit on me, you will have to do any training I tell you to do, no questions ask." Ezekiel's grandfather suggested.
"Ummm… Are you sure this is a good idea, I think your too old, I don't want to hurt you or anything." Ezekiel replied. "If anything, I should give you six months to hit me. I'm a lot faster than I was a couple weeks ago and my senses are a lot sharper, so I might even need to give you a year."
Ezekiel's grandfather's pride was wounded by Ezekiel's arrogant words, so he jumped out of his seat and said, "Fine, since your so confident, I'd even counter attack to make it harder on you and I will give you 3months to land one strike on me and if you do I will become your servant for the rest of your life and do anything you ask of me."
Ezekiel chuckled to himself and said, "Fine, you have a deal."
Ezekiel's grandfather stuck out his hand and said, "When gentlemen come to an agreement they shake hands."
Ezekiel also stuck out his hand and shook his grandfather's hand to seal the deal and his grandfather said, "Great, we're starting now. Lets go outside."
"Fine by me. I'll get this over with as soon as possible." Ezekiel said cockily.
The two of them went outside to the training area and Ezekiel had a massive smile on his face. He was already thinking about all the things he wanted to ask for, meanwhile his grandfather was yawning, neither of them decided to warm up. They were both as arrogant as each other.
"Start whenever you want." Ezekiel grandfather yawned.
"Come on Shin Shin, we got this. This will be over in less than a minute." "Don't be so naïve. Just because he's old doesn't make him weak." "I'll be fine. All he has is that teleportation move, but other than that he's completely helpless."
Ezekiel put his fists up and started smiling. He threw a punch at his grandfather, but to his surprise, his grandfather dodged it. Ezekiel still maintained his confidence and kept his smile, and just regarded it as a luck. Ezekiel tried to punch him again, but his grandfather dodged by stepping back.
"Come on. You were giving all this talk, but you can't back it up. This is pitiful. You should try balling your fist properly before throwing a punch. The thumb goes on the outside rather than the inside and get in a fighting stance when you punch." Ezekiel's grandfather explained.
"I don't need your lecture, you just got luck twice! This time I will hit you for sure." Ezekiel exclaimed.
Ezekiel got ready to throw a punch again and listened to his grandfather's advice by putting his thumb on the outside and with all his might, he swung his right fist at his grandfather and envisioned smashing him with his fist, but his grandfather stepped to Ezekiel's right and meandered around the fist, which made Ezekiel lose balance and embarrassingly fall to the floor.
"I told you, fighting stance." Ezekiel's grandfather chuckled. "Put your dominant leg backwards and the other leg forward and swing your hips when you punch, but don't lean in too much, so you don't fall and remember the aim is to try and hit me."
Ezekiel was annoyed as he felt he was being belittled, so he got up off the floor and charged at his grandfather to tackle him to the ground, but his grandfather simply moved out of the way.
"I'm not those poachers you were fighting. The run and charge move won't work out on me and you leave yourself open to get hit." Ezekiel's grandfather explained.
Ezekiel stood up straight again and tried to punch his grandfather in his chest, but he pushed Ezekiel's arm out the way and Ezekiel tried to come through with another punch, but his grandfather used his palm to brush against Ezekiel's forearm, which made Ezekiel miss his punch and stumble forward and his grandfather put his leg out and Ezekiel tripped over it and fell to the floor. His grandfather yawned again and mockingly said, "You're not very good at this. Is it because I'm too strong or are you just very weak."
"Maybe, you're not as weak as I thought you were, but remember I'm still tired. So after a good nights sleep I will be able to take you down." Ezekiel scratching his forehead.
"Is that so. Alright then, goodnight." Ezekiel's grandfather said.
"Goodnight." Ezekiel replied.
Ezekiel took the walk of shame back inside, but he saw his grandfather looking up at the sunset, so Ezekiel sneakily crept up behind him and like he a leopard, he pounced on his grandfather by throwing a punch from behind. Ezekiel could envision his punch landing, he was smiling from ear to ear and as his fist got closer, his grandfather was completely unaware and still negligently looking up at the sunset. A moment later and Ezekiel could feel he made contact and he was elated, but Ezekiel noticed something was off, it was his wrist that made contact rather than his fist and on top of that, his right arm was going up in the air and he was falling backwards. The flip flop flying in the air made him realise, he didn't land his punch, but instead his grandfather's flip flop hit his wrist and knocked his arm upwards.
Ezekiel braced himself to hit the ground, but his grandfather quickly turned around and grabbed his t shirt, so he wouldn't fall and said, "That wasn't a bad idea, if it wasn't someone like me that may have actually worked."
Ezekiel saw his grandfather's hand holding onto his shirt and grabbed it with his left hand, then went to smash it with his fist, but his grandfather let go of his shirt, but Ezekiel anticipated that and was holding onto his arm tight and continued his strike, but his grandfather freed himself from his grandsons grip by pulling his arm to his opposite shoulder, which made Ezekiel fall completely to the ground before he could get a hit off.
"Now that wasn't a good idea. Go and get some rest, you'll need it." Ezekiel's grandfather said.
