As soon as Miss All Sunday stepped inside, a few Baroque Works members who were still managing the casino noticed her. One of them quickly approached and asked anxiously, "What happened, Miss All Sunday? Is everything all right? Has that bastard who dealt heavy damage to Baroque Works been taken care of by Mr. 0?"
There was blind trust in his voice. After all, in his mind, Crocodile was a Warlord—someone who could deal with any threat that arose.
Hearing his words, Miss All Sunday smiled calmly and replied, "The man you're talking about is the young man standing behind me," she said, lightly pointing toward Gojo. "And he has not only destroyed all the officers and frontier agents of Baroque Works, but has also forced Mr. 0 to flee."
The Baroque Works member froze, horror spreading across his face. He opened his mouth as if to say something more, but no words came out. Before he could gather himself, Miss All Sunday had already turned away, ignoring him completely, and continued moving deeper into the casino.
Gojo followed behind her at an unhurried pace. Soon, they stopped in front of a large vault hidden within the depths of the building. Miss All Sunday stepped forward and entered the correct combination. With a heavy sound, the vault door opened.
Inside were piles of riches—gold, stacks of cash, and various other valuables neatly stored away.
Robin spoke calmly, "The total amount of liquid assets inside comes to about 1.5 billion berries. The rest consists of a few other real estate holdings, but those would require selling."
As soon as Gojo heard this, he shook his head slightly and said, "No need. This much money will be enough for me to have a new ship made."
When Miss All Sunday heard that Gojo intended to use the money to build a new ship for himself, she couldn't help but speak up. A faint smile appeared on her face as she said, "It seems you're planning to form a new pirate crew. How about I become a part of your crew?"
Gojo immediately shook his head. "First of all, I'm not making any pirate group. I hate pirates. Secondly, I prefer to work alone." His tone hardened a little as he continued, "And the most important part—I can never allow someone who worked with a person I severely injured, especially when that person managed to escape. Maybe in the future you could betray me. I can never allow you to travel with me on my ship."
Hearing this, Miss All Sunday let out a soft chuckle. "You really are heartless," she said. "If a beautiful woman like me suggested joining a pirate crew, most would welcome it with open arms. Yet you're rejecting me so easily." She paused briefly, her eyes narrowing just a bit. "But it seems I understand what's happening."
Gojo didn't care what Robin—or Miss All Sunday—thought she understood about him. The truth was simple. He didn't want to take Robin with him because he wanted her to become part of the Straw Hats' crew. After all, that was the best place for her. On his ship, she wouldn't be of much use to him. And more than that, he wanted to see whether fate truly played a role in this world—whether, even after being rejected by him and after his defeat of Crocodile completely changing the story, Robin could still end up joining the Straw Hats.
Gojo closed the vault, the heavy door locking into place with a solid sound. Turning toward Miss All Sunday, he asked, "Does anyone else know the opening sequence of this vault?"
Miss All Sunday shook her head. "No. Except for me and Crocodile, no one knew. Even I wasn't supposed to know it," she added calmly. "I just took a sneak peek once when Crocodile was opening the vault. That's how I learned the sequence."
Gojo nodded after hearing this and said, "Then I should thank you. Consider me letting you leave unharmed as a gift." He glanced around the room briefly before continuing, "You can go now. This entire building will be mine. You can inform the other Baroque Works members about it. I'll be taking over this building."
Miss All Sunday nodded once. "As you wish."
She didn't ask again to join Gojo's crew. After all, she understood what he was trying to say—that he didn't want her with him, and so she would not try to force her way into his path.
After this, Gojo also left the Rain Dinners casino building. Rain was pouring outside, cool droplets soaking into the ground as if the desert itself was finally breathing again. He soon found Vivi and Igaram and, after stopping in front of them, asked, "What are your plans next? Now that Crocodile has been dealt with, Baroque Works is technically destroyed. What will you be doing now?"
Vivi looked outside at the falling rain, her expression filled with quiet resolve. "Now that it's raining," she said, "and I'm confident it must be raining all over the Alabasta Kingdom after all you defeated Crocodile, I'll first go and inform my father, Cobra, about Crocodile. After that, I'll go to Koza and tell him to stop the rebellion. I'll explain everything that happened." She clenched her fists slightly. "With the rain as proof, I believe I'll be able to convince everyone."
Gojo nodded slowly. "As you wish. I hope you succeed," he said, then added bluntly, "but don't forget our deal. You still owe me money."
As soon as Vivi heard this, she rolled her eyes. "Don't worry," she replied, "I'm not forgetful. I remember our deal."
Gojo nodded again. "Good. As long as you remember." He paused for a moment, then continued, "And one more thing—Crocodile collected a lot of worthless artifacts, paintings, and similar things. Keep those with you. I can only carry so much money and gold, and as for all the real estate Crocodile has in his name, you should keep that as well."
After saying this, Gojo turned and left the room, disappearing into the rain without looking back.
Vivi remained standing there, stunned. A moment later, a soft smile appeared on her face. In his own way, Gojo was helping them far more than he let on.
