"Would it not?" He asked again, looking slightly confused. "After all, according to you, this person called Kaguya, the first gardner of the Chakra Tree on this planet, only fed the ten tails half of Isshiki Otsutsuki while the remaining half of him escaped and took over Jigen."
Everyone remained frozen.
They couldn't believe their ears.
"Wait a minute…" Haruto mumbled, stunned. "Is that even possible?"
"I don't see why not… after all Jigen has revealed himself so Black Zetsu should know about him now…" Megamind finally said under everyone's wide gazes.

"Madara-sama, I have found out who killed the Third Hokage."
Obito looked at Black Zetsu who was peeking out of the ground and frowned.
"Although I was planning to get the old man killed eventually to weaken the village… it's not bad that someone did it for us… who is it? We should invite him to the Akatsuki."
"Madara-sama… I would suggest otherwise…"
"Huh? Why? Is the Third Hokage alive? Is that man who killed him a trap?"
Black Zetsu shook his head before explaining himself, "Madara-sama… it seems like the man is an experimental project by the fire temple."
"Huh? What's that? An experiment? Did they try to cause the descent of the buddha or something? What are those old geezers in the temples doing?"
Seeing Obito believing him without question, Black Zetsu continued, "The elders of the fire temple were given some of the chakra of the Nine Tailed beasts long ago by Hashirama before the first Five Kage Summit. The Elders of the fire temple then stored that chakra for a long time before recently turning a monk named Jigen the Jinchuriki off all that chakra."
Obito frowned behind his mask.
"So you're saying we can cut short the eye of the moon plan by sacrificing him to the Gedo Statue?"
Black Zetsu nodded while doing his best to hide his evil smirk as he moved around Obito's mind like a pawn on his board.
"Then what are we waiting for!?" Obito suddenly let out a shout, "Let's go get that jerk already and feed him to the gedo statue!"
Black Zetsu shook his head quickly, "I'm afraid that would be unwise Madara-sama… for Jigen is very powerful… it seems he has quite a lot of abilities that he has been hiding and each of them is equally dangerous."
"What's got you so rattled up? Nothing can touch me unless I don't want it to, remember?"
"No Madara-sama… Jigen can seemingly absorb all chakra and jutsus based on chakra are ineffective on him… without knowing if your intangibility can be negated by his touch, it would be unwise for you to attack him so early."
"Then what do I do? I can't just sit around when I have the opportunity to create the perfect world with Rin that I've always wanted, right?"
"There is another way to check…" Black Zetsu said calmly.
"Another way? How? How can I know if my intangibility can be negated by him without fighting him first?"
Black Zetsu's gooey lips opened up into an evil smile as he spoke with authority, "Kakashi has your eye remember?"
Suddenly Obito became enlightened.
"You wish for Kakashi to fight the mongrel named Jigen with his Mangekyou Sharingan… then we'll be able to figure out if my intangibility will work against him!"
Black Zetsu nodded with a wide smirk, "Precisely Madara-sama… I knew you'd figure things out with your bright mind."
"Hpmf! Of course I would! I'm Madara after all."
"But how do we tell Kakashi about his Mangekyou Sharingan?" Obito asked, puzzled, scratching his head slightly.
"That's easy Madara-sama… as long as you perform a jutsu we can send Kakashi memories through the shared link between your sharingan."
"Tsk… so you want me to send him the memories of the time he awakened the Mangekyou after he killed Rin?"
"Yes Madara-sama… since he awakened it then because of you, sending him the memory from your perspective would be perfect."
"Hmm… while there are chances he could dismiss it as a weird dream, this is worth attempting…" Obito finally said with a dismissive snort before talking to Black Zetsu about the new Jutsu he had to learn.

Haruto frowned in thought as did the rest of the cohort inside his Template Inventory.
"This is a real problem… will the eye of the moon plan be forwarded because of this?" Haruto asked everyone.
Edward shook his head, "I don't think so… at least not in the near future since Jigen as a fighter outclasses everyone on Earth currently…"
Haruto nodded, "True, but how long can we expect him to fend off attacks from Black Zetsu… what if Black Zetsu gets impatient and resurrects Madara using Edo Tensei and then uses him to fight off Jigen? I doubt Jigen can fight against Madara with infinite chakra…"
"Can't Jigen just lock him inside a sub dimension?" Megamind asked but Haruto quickly countered, "Obito's sharingan will let him travel between dimensions easily… I'm sure Black Zetsu will prepare him with them since he knows about Kaguya's dimensional prowess."
Grindelwald smiled at that and shook his head, "You're forgetting one thing Haruto-kun…"
"Forgetting something? What?"
"If I'm not wrong you told us before that Kara, the organisation that Jigen creates, has the body of Shibai Otsutsuki, the Otsutsuki god. Given the worst case scenario, can't Jigen just use his Karma marking to resurrect inside Shibai Otsutsuki's body temporarily and wipe Madara off the face of the planet?"
"...." Haruto frowned, "If that were possible why didn't he pull it off in my world when the Author was writing Boruto? Perhaps the body the Karma mark is implanted in needs to be alive for it to work?"
Grindelwald shook his head gently, "Your thinking is too limited about this Haruto-kun… Jigen can just resurrect any random shinobi in Shibai Otsutsuki's body using Edo Tensei and then resurrect in that newly Edo Tensei'ed body by applying his Karma mark, after all, the base stats of the body shouldn't degrade when using Edo Tensei on it. Especially when using the supposed body of a god."
Everyone's eyes widened.
Haruto looked at Grindelwald and nodded in admiration, truly only a dark god could think of such scary schemes where even resurrection was treated as stepping stone in a plan.
"So what do we do about this?" Haruto asked everyone.
Grindelwald sighed and explained, "There's nothing much you can do but watch for now until you get stronger Haruto-kun."
Haruto sighed at that, just like everyone else in the group.
In the end it was Megamind who broke the depressing silence that had settled on the group.
"I have a mission for you too."
"Oh!? What is it?"
"Just assigned it."
Haruto quickly checked the mission page and found a new mission added just below Grindelwald's mission.
Mission Aim : Make an AI capable of turning handwritten text to computer text.
Mission Assigned By : Megamind.
Mission Reward : Chip fabrication knowledge.
"Hmmm… although it doesn't help me get stronger directly… it should open some doors for me within the village, thanks Megamind."
Megamind smiled.

Kakashi looked at his favourite book on his desk and let out a sigh.
His gaze then shifted to the Hokage rock where the construction of Danzo's face was undergoing the first stages of preparation.
It was late in the night so that stars were visible up above but Kakashi's attention wasn't on them no matter how beautiful or captivating they looked.
Instead it was on the future, the future of the village to be precise.
'Should I just assassinate Danzo?'
