"Then, I'll go notify the ordinary people in the hotel to avoid causing panic."
Hayberion turned around and jumped lightly. The black cape behind him unfurled, allowing him to float elegantly towards the hotel.
Uluvheim was much more impatient, choosing instead to free-fall directly, landing with a slight bend of his knees without a scratch.
Rhode wasn't surprised, as his own President often jumped down from the second or third floor of the Guild, not at all like someone of his age.
Even though this place was a tiny bit higher than the Guild, it was still acceptable.
Jura did not rush to leave, looking somewhat worried.
If Rhode had said he intended to wipe out everyone on the mountain, Jura would have believed it, as Summoning a Dragon to roam around would suffice.
But to capture them alive? He pondered silently on how he would do it himself — cause a landslide? Or make the ground collapse?
Makarov directly asked, "How do you plan on doing it?"
If it were up to him, he would probably use Fairy Law, holding back a bit to avoid killing anyone directly.
But Rhode probably hadn't learned Fairy Law yet, and Fairy Radiance wasn't suitable for attacking such scattered enemies.
"It's not important how to hit them; the point is how to do it stylishly," Rhode thought for a moment and said, "Vorod, sir, shall we go down first? Can this tree shrink?"
If not, he'd do it himself, as the tree was obstructing the view a bit.
"My Magic can only make plants grow, not shrink..." Vorod met Rhode's skeptical eyes and laughed heartily, "Of course, I'm just joking!"
The branches of the big tree quickly contracted, the trunk became thinner and lower, eventually turning into a small sapling just breaking through the soil.
The four of them stood firmly on the ground as Rhode commanded the creatures to transport the captives and spoils into the hotel.
Seeing the enemies starting to descend the mountain, a pair of green Dragon wings sprouted from Rhode's back.
With a flap of his wings, Rhode's body floated into the air.
Magic Power surged through his body, and although he didn't use any Magic, a fierce wind whipped up around them; the ground trembled slightly, and the hotel's buildings wobbled subtly.
Many guests dining leisurely were surprised to see the wine glasses on their tables rippling. Curtains, tablecloths, and towels fluttered wildly in rooms with open windows.
People looked out the window to see Rhode's white coat billowing in the air, with the emblem of the Ten Wizard Saints behind him.
Even more eye-catching than the emblem was the monstrously green pair of wings.
Some sharp-eyed individuals noticed a group on the opposite hill and realized that a member of the Ten Wizard Saints was about to strike against them.
Rhode thought for a second, tilting his body slightly.
It seemed like he was adjusting his angle for an attack, but in reality, he was just trying to show a bit of his side profile.
—— He had heard a famous actor once say that a hero entering from a forty-five-degree angle looks cooler.
Feeling satisfied with his entrance, Rhode's hands transformed into green Dragon Claws, slowly raising them from his sides.
As he moved, the nearby wind seemed to grow fiercer, the clear sky darkened all of a sudden. The sparse white clouds gathered quickly, turning entirely into dark clouds.
In just a few seconds, daylight almost turned into night as torrential rain poured down.
"What is this?"
"Why is it raining all of a sudden at a time like this?"
"Idiot, of course, it's because of him!"
"Rumors say the Magic Power of the Ten Wizard Saints can alter weather and terrain... So it's true!"
"Hey, aren't we in some trouble?!"
On Hayberion's instructions, the hotel manager and waitstaff promptly calmed the guests in each room and hall, saying with pride:
"Please, everyone, do not panic. While there is a Dark Guild nearby, our hotel has six Ten Wizard Saints present. The one in action right now is none other than the seventh-ranked Lord Rhode!
"And just now, Lord Hayberion, who ranks second among the Ten, assured us of our safety. I believe no place on this continent is safer than here, so please remain calm!"
The reputation of the Ten Wizard Saints was quite effective, and most guests quickly quieted down.
A few others eagerly watched the spectacle from the windows, while a handful considered leaving quietly but hesitated, uncertain where the Dark Guild might be lurking.
"Huh, why has it turned blue?"
"Are those wings Magic Tools?"
"I've never seen this type of flying device before."
Someone noticed that the wings behind Rhode had transitioned to a blue-to-purple gradient.
The bones had a golden metallic trim embedded with blue, crystal-like Magic Crystals.
These features led them to mistakenly identify the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon's wings as some sort of Magic Tool.
"Does the rain on the mountain seem to have changed color?"
"Look quickly, such large raindrops!"
"Those aren't raindrops, they're lightning!"
The innocent mountain opposite seemed to be enveloped by a solitary cloud, with blue lightning crackling down.
The blazing blue lights were particularly conspicuous in the gloomy weather, really forming a lightning storm.
The more than 300 people initially running on the mountain fell half in an instant under the lightning storm.
The 'lucky' half hadn't yet celebrated when they realized that each person struck by lightning emitted three additional flashes.
Even lightning that hit trees unleashed three beams of light shooting wildly around.
The once neat slope turned into a sea of lightning in the blink of an eye.
Many immediately fell into the sea of lightning, while others raised Magic Shields in defense or activated Magic Shoes to flee quickly.
Some big thinkers tried jumping to avoid the sea of lightning, only to be struck by falling new bolts from the sky, having dodged none of the ground's splashes.
Consequently, the remaining half quickly dwindled further.
To those who persisted, worse was yet to come, as this was only the first wave of attacks.
The blue lightning in the sky continued to strike down relentlessly, and the scattering lightning on the ground never ceased, turning the initially flat electric net into a three-dimensional cage.
The quickest to dodge lay down first, seeing dense electric arcs everywhere left no room to hide.
Those relying on Magic Shield defenses soon exhausted their tool's Magic Power, their shields cracking one by one.
"Is this the true power of the Ten? Like a natural disaster..."
Despairingly, they bathed under the lightning, gazing at the floating figure in the sky.
"Those glowing wings, terrifying claws, malevolent smile, power to control weather and lightning... He can't possibly be human?!"
"Demon! That guy's a demon!"
As the last figure fell within the azure electric cage, Rhode touched his face, puzzled, "So handsome, how do I look like a demon?"
