Pov: Vik
I saw my status and after confirming a few things, I entered the dungeon with my disciple. Today, I'm ready for a Dungeon party.
As we entered, I found myself in a grassy field with my disciples. In front of us, a deep forest stretched out, filled with tall trees and thick bushes. The scene was refreshing. I turned to my disciples and said, "Disciples, it's time to clear this dungeon. The one who gets the most kills will earn a special reward from me."
After hearing my words, my disciples looked toward the forest with excitement. Lu Xiaoran, at the front, gathered his spiritual energy and activated the Chaos Titan body refining technique, especially its battle form. He transformed his hands and feet into ice, showing that his mastery over this form had improved.
Roman didn't lag behind. He channeled his energy, first chanting a spell that summoned a magic circle. From within that circle, several monolith-like structures appeared. He channeled his energy again, and the monoliths acted as conductors, transferring thunder from one place to another. A circle of thunder surrounded Roman as he initiated the Chaos Titan body refining technique, transforming into a man clad in armor made of thunder. Only his head remained visible, while his body was covered in lightning.
Both of them were ready to compete with their power. I was sure that much of the forest would either freeze or be evaporated by the thunder.
But before they could start the raid, Lina shouted, "Stop, everyone!"
Both of them turned to her. Then Lina looked at me and asked, "Master, before we start this raid, I want to gather information about the dungeon. What are our objectives, and what kind of monsters will we face?"
I smiled when I heard her question. "Lina, you are the smartest among us. By asking that question, you have already taken the lead in this competition."
Lina puffed her chest, feeling proud, while Lu Xiaoran and Roman looked at us in confusion. To clear their doubts, I said, "Disciples, tell me the first rule I taught you about dungeons. Recite all the codes of engagement."
Both Lu Xiaoran and Roman showed shock at my question. After recalling the rule, they scratched the back of their heads. Understanding their mistake, they began to recount the rules I had taught them. Lina joined them, and all my disciples started recalling the rules of engagement.
Rules of Engagement in a Dungeon:
1. Never enter an unknown dungeon. If you accidentally enter one, stay in a safe area and try to exit. If you can't escape, call for immediate help while hiding and gathering information about the dungeon and its inhabitants.
2. If you are on a dungeon raid, ensure that at least three people of equal or greater strength are with you. Also, gather information about the dungeon, including its layout, monsters, bosses, and power levels, or the history of the dungeon in exceptional cases.
3. Never go into a dungeon suddenly appearing in the middle of a street. (Extreme danger)
4. Never enter a dungeon that appears inside another dungeon. (Immediately run and escape at all costs if you don't want to become the next shadow monarch. That title is under copyright.)
5. If a dungeon suddenly evolves or grows in power, escape it. If you are out of that dungeon, flee at least a thousand miles away.
After shouting and recalling those rules, all my disciples looked at me as if asking for praise. I acknowledged them and began explaining about the dungeon. They wanted information about the dungeon, but we didn't have time, and I already had all the details.
I opened a map that showed the layout and geography of the dungeon. Pointing at the map, I said, "Disciples, this is a B-rank dungeon called Goblin City. As the name suggests, the main monster here is a goblin."
Then I showed them a photo of a goblin and pointed out, "These are mindless creatures driven by savage hunger and lust. New dungeon raiders often target them. However, this dungeon is called Goblin City, meaning it has a society structure of goblins. There are other monsters here that generally dominate the goblin population."
The main monsters include, "Hobgoblins, Orcs, Trolls, and in rare cases, the dungeon boss is a goblin king."
After providing this information, I explained the competition rules: it's simple; everyone needs to kill monsters. Goblin = 1 point.
Hobgoblin = 5 points
Orcs = 10 points
Trolls = 40 points
Goblin King = 240 points.
I then asked the system to show everyone a status where their names would be arranged in a leaderboard. Currently, Lina was in the lead with ten points, which she earned as a bonus for asking that question.
With everything in order, I signaled the start of the competition. Lu Xiaoran and Roman moved like lightning into the forest, looking for their first prey.
Meanwhile, Lina stood in front of me, stretching a bit. Just when I thought she was about to fight, she pulled out some items from her system watch, which looked like a huge pile of things.
Soon, she assembled those items into a high-tech-looking building with a large antenna on top. It resembled a headquarters, and soon special machines, like scanners, began to operate around it. Small drones flew over the grass plains, scanning the ground. After that, drill-like machines started operating in specific locations, extracting metal and other ores from deep beneath the surface.
Once a sufficient amount of metal was collected, she created several other buildings containing solar panels and windmills. These were definitely power sources. Finally, she built a large factory-like structure where machines operated to create dozens of humanoid robots. After five minutes, the first batch of robots emerged, each holding a high-tech electromagnetic rifle. They saluted Lina before kneeling in front of me.
Following them was a small flying drone designed for scouting. They headed into the forest in search of goblins to hunt.
Meanwhile, Lina, who initiated all this, sat comfortably in a chair with a robot holding an umbrella for her while she drank coconut water. Sensing my gaze, she looked at me and said, "Master, please come and sit with me."
I followed her invitation and sat beside her. I asked, "Lina, this is a new fighting style I've never seen before."
She smiled and replied, "Master, I may not be strong individually, but with my science, magic, and cultivation, I can create an army of strong fighters. I also don't like to engage in bloody battles; I prefer to watch from a distance."
I laughed at her words. This disciple of mine may not have the greatest cultivation technique, but she is special nonetheless.
