Chapter 542 - Chapter 504: Bumblebee

Look at the way that guy throws money around, so suave and effortless. Why would such a rich person come to a place like this to buy a second-hand car?

Just the aura and demeanor far surpass Sam's father's boss by countless times; it's not something just any rich person can pull off.

Sam found himself puzzled, but with only a three thousand budget, he had to find a way to pick a car that wasn't embarrassingly shabby.

Being rich is really nice...

Of course, the person who came was Su Ming. Actually, he'd been thinking for a long time about using the Fire Source to bypass Conqueror Kang's technological lock.

So, before this, he entered Hasbro's Multiverse, where everything is part of the IDW comic world.

IDW Comics Company may sound unfamiliar, but as someone of Su Ming's age group, their works wouldn't be too unfamiliar.

"Transformers," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Star Trek: Enterprise," "Dungeons and Dragons Comic," "Rainbow Little Pony," and so on… all are from their works.

However, in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles world, the specialty is pizza. In that world, what might be useful to Su Ming… perhaps only Master Rat's Kung Fu moves are worth referencing.

Rainbow Little Pony's specialty is good friends, and all sorts of powers that defy logic, but the ponies are too cute. If he went there, he might completely relax; better to consider it for a long vacation.

It's Star Trek's Teleportation Technology and Dungeons and Dragons' Spatial Bag that he wants to get hold of if there's a chance.

Anyway, after reaching the Transformers world and setting a time, Su Ming immediately went to a pawnshop to exchange gold for cash, bought a fake identity and phone on the street, and then went online to check out the items Sam was selling online.

Ebuy account name "Playboy217," selling his great-grandfather Vitevich's glasses, and willing to do in-person trade.

This kid is too naive; isn't this exposing his home address?

Perhaps he thinks the item is worthless and nobody would come to steal it, but that's only because he doesn't know the true value of the glasses.

The Decepticons are desperate to get this item.

Su Ming actually doesn't need the glasses to know where the Fire Source is; it's in Hoover Dam. President Hoover established a secret government agency, the Seventh District, and built a dam and a hydroelectric plant to disguise the secret lab beneath.

But right now, there are two awkward issues.

First, the Fire Source is currently a gigantic cube with a length, width, and height of 30 meters. Only the contact and command of Cybertron life can shrink it into a portable small cube for humans.

Su Ming could easily enter the hydroelectric plant, whether by force or stealth, but carrying away the oversized Fire Source is impossible; it's a waste.

Second, while touching the Fire Source will indeed transform metal into Transformers, the newly born Transformers are all crazy Decepticons. Optimus Prime is the only one who can give Su Ming the answer to this problem.

In the comics and movies, it always ends with Sam using the Fire Source to strike Megatron's Energy Core, causing it to overload and kill Megatron. The Fire Source is wasted like a firecracker.

So Su Ming thought he could strike a deal with Optimus Prime, having Deathstroke help them deal with Megatron in exchange for the Fire Source as a reward.

Given this, Su Ming first needed to find the Earth-bound pioneer of the Autobots, Bumblebee.

Since there was no specific location for the second-hand car market, Su Ming tracked Sam and his father.

When they drove off, Su Ming, who had already found Sam's home location and had been lurking in his garage, hitched a ride.

With Strangulation's help, he attached himself under their car's chassis and indeed found the second-hand car dealership successfully.

Crawling out from under the car, Strangulation transformed into a suit, and Su Ming strolled around like a regular customer.

And Bumblebee's current form, that rundown Chevrolet, was very conspicuous; Su Ming spotted it at first glance.

Looking through the window at the blocky Autobots emblem on the steering wheel, Su Ming knew this was it. He'd buy it first and then take it somewhere secluded for proper adjustment.

"You've got a good eye; this is absolutely a great car. Come, get in and try it out."

Bobby had already counted the money quickly and handed over the keys with a smile.

He originally planned to be obsequious and open the car door for the customer to drive away directly, but no matter how much he pulled, the door just wouldn't open.

"This… this is just a minor issue, haha, I'll fix it right away, fix it right away. I've been selling cars for thirty years, sometimes there are just minor problems, requiring a little trick."

He said with a smile to Su Ming, then turned to focus on the lock, but couldn't muster a smile on his face. He was so anxious that his features twisted and deformed.

Five thousand US Dollars! If the customer decides not to buy the car because of the door, he'd have to return the money, which would kill him!

But despite his efforts, the door still wouldn't open.

Su Ming knew what was going on. Since the glasses with the Star Map were with Sam, Bumblebee regarded himself as Sam's Guardian, entering the second-hand car market to legitimately let Sam take him home.

He didn't want to be bought by someone else.

Based on his understanding of humans, an item with a big problem could be returned, so he simply locked the door to prevent that human from getting in.

Now, what can you do?

But he didn't expect that Su Ming was not an ordinary person at all.

The one-eyed man patted the Fatty's shoulder: "Step aside, seeing you all sweaty and still unable to open a car door—it's your kidneys that are weak."

With that, he pushed the Fatty aside and placed his own hand on the door handle.

Bumblebee was leisurely watching this, wanting to see the humans leave in vain. Cybertron alloy was advanced, and humans couldn't possibly open it with their strength.

But in the next moment, he felt tremendous force, and the whole car slid a few centimeters.

With the squealing of twisting metal, the door was directly pulled out of shape, and with sparks flying, it was wrenched open.

Bumblebee: "Meow meow meow?"

Su Ming sat in the driver's seat, smiling as he patted the steering wheel, closed the already twisted and deformed car door, and reached his hand out to Bobby outside the window.

"The key."

"Uh... oh."

"The car door needs some lubricant, it's indeed a minor issue. I can handle it myself later." Su Ming took the key and inserted it into the keyhole, turning it several times.

Fatty Bobby forced a smile, hehe, did he just see sparks flying from the car door? Was it an illusion?

Maybe it's just too hot today, perhaps he's suffering from heat stroke?

However, before he could think too much, another problem arose.

The car couldn't start...

"Hiss..." Fatty's sweat instantly started dripping. Selling second-hand cars is about selling sentiment and engines. If the engine has issues, the customer will definitely want a refund.

Bumblebee thought the same, feeling pain in its arm. Is this human a monster? Stronger than an Autobot, forcibly yanking open the car door.

But it wouldn't let itself be driven away by someone else. Its new plan was to pretend it couldn't start, no matter how this person turned the key, it wouldn't respond, just to frustrate him.

The air inside the car was silent; Fatty nervously pursed his lips, watching the customer.

In that moment just now, he seemed to have seen a black devil shadow behind the customer, was it an illusion?

"Ah... so naughty."

But Su Ming quickly laughed, Bumblebee sure is stubborn. He could just go to Sam and buy the glasses, couldn't he?

Even without the glasses, Su Ming knows where the Fire Source is.

But this kind of disobedience cannot be tolerated. Su Ming spent 5000 US Dollars, so Bumblebee is his property now. Even if Optimus Prime has objections, he needs to check with Godslayer and Nightfall!

Su Ming pushed the door open and got out of the car, opening the hood as if preparing for some repair work.

Fatty Bobby breathed a sigh of relief, looks like the customer hasn't given up, he narrowly escaped disaster once again.

"I'll get you some tools."

"No, no need for tools." Su Ming waved his hand, stopping him. This is just the Autobots sulking; there are no real issues: "You know, I've heard from some special people about a way to fix cars. They believe that the car doesn't start because the mechanical spirit is displeased, and by praying and applying Holy Oil, the machine can be restored to normal."

"Haha, ha..."

Bobby could only laugh along. The mechanical spirit is displeased? The car wouldn't start? What kind of lunatic theory is this?

But the customer is God, don't mention praying and applying oil, even if Bobby was asked to push oil for the car, he would do it!

"Okay, what oil do you need? Butter? Gasoline? Olive Oil?"

Su Ming shook his head disdainfully and said: "I disagree with their view. I believe that the displeasure of the mechanical spirit is due to pampering. The more it misbehaves, the more you have to mess with it, so I plan to urinate in the fuel tank."

"What?!" Bobby's mouth dropped open, this theory is even crazier, right?

"What?!" This is Bumblebee's inner thought, when it's transformed into a car, the fuel tank is still part of its body. If humans really urinated in it, the urine would flow through its lines covering its entire body...

"Buzz buzz..."

As Su Ming walked to the fuel tank, forcefully prying open the fuel cap, and began unbuckling his belt, the car suddenly started by itself.

Su Ming held back a smile and pretended to clear his throat seriously, re-buckling the belt he conjured, and casually patted Bobby's shoulder.

"See, the most scientific way to repair a car is to say you're going to urinate in the fuel tank; the car will start itself. This is a huge secret; I don't tell ordinary people."

Fatty was already numb, shrinking his neck, unable to tell what's reality anymore, with a dumb smile on his face.

The car door opened, the car started, but Su Ming couldn't leave yet because he found the tires suddenly deflated.

Because it involves money, Fatty instantly snapped back to reality, immediately offering to change the spare tire for Su Ming, pleading him not to use any more bizarre theories to repair the car.

The crazy theories proposed by these guys probably aren't from Earth, are they? Maybe they live on Mars?

Changing the tire was useless, Su Ming knew very well that no matter how many tires he changed, Bumblebee would keep causing trouble.

But young Autobots, they don't know what a Tactical Master represents.

Su Ming stepped out of the car, gently closing the car door, and sighed.

At this moment, Bumblebee was smug, and Fatty Bobby was in despair.

"He doesn't want this car anymore" X2.

This was their thought.

But they saw the one-eyed man raise his arm, snap his fingers, and from a street corner outside the parking lot, a crane and a flatbed truck drove over.

Deathstroke was prepared.

Bobby numbly watched as the crane skillfully lifted the Chevrolet onto the flatbed. The truck driver quickly used dozens of steel cables as thick as wrists to secure the Chevrolet firmly; he really didn't know what to say.

You have so much money, why fuss over a second-hand car, why not buy a new one?

But business is never too much; this time was truly eye-opening.

"The car is great, I'm very satisfied."

Su Ming shook hands with him in farewell, then turned to leave, directly climbing onto the trailer and getting into the Chevrolet cabin.

In the second-hand car market, only a confused father-son duo and Fatty Bobby were left, watching the trailer drive further away.

They didn't see that as Sam disappeared from view, the Chevrolet sprayed two lines of cleaning fluid like tears from under the wipers...
