Chapter 177 - Chapter 176: Preparing to Cause Trouble

Chapter 176: Preparing to Cause Trouble

Clearly, those few words had brought them immense shock.

However, Sanguinius quickly realized what was happening, clenched his fists, and growled, "I'm going back to Terra right now! They'll have to get to the bottom of this!"

Francis couldn't stop him, no matter what he tried. The other person simply vanished from the spot, leaving him feeling a pang of jealousy.

Curze was also stunned. He hadn't expected Sunguinius to care about him so much. He had thought that apart from Fulgrim, no other brother would care about him anymore.

"Don't just stand there, come with me to Cadia!" Francis patted the other person on the shoulder.

"Are we not going to deal with these orcs?" Curze frowned, somewhat puzzled by what the other person was thinking.

"There are others here, right? Let them fight first. My matter is more important than the battle! The victory of this battle depends on this!" Francis said earnestly.

He knew the orcs' command center was on Ullanor. However, he was certain that Brother Mork was there, and judging from the previous situation, there must be an orc temple on Ullanor. Although throwing Vulkan in would solve the problem, this was clearly not the best approach.

Learning from his previous experience, he realized that the other side must have gathered enough orc prophets to reclaim Gork and Mork. He had to do something even more amazing.

Moreover, he had already alerted two guys. How come the Emperor hasn't woken up yet? Is he really that weak now?

Then he has to act while the old man is still asleep, and he'll be forced to accept the situation, even if he doesn't want to!

"He-he-he! You are a goddamn genius, Francis!" Thinking about this, Francis became even more excited! He immediately contacted the Soul Drinkers at Blackrock Fortress and changed his route.

However, with the retreat of the Night Lords, the Raven Guard, who were still fighting, immediately felt the pressure of the orcish attack increase.

The flagship of the Raven Guard, the Shadow of the Emperor, hovered in orbit around the planet. Inside the flagship's command center, the atmosphere was heavy and tense, with only the light screens emitting a faint, cold glow.

Shadow Captain Sharrowkyn, with a cold expression and wearing dark black battle armor, walked with heavy and hurried steps through the command hall, heading straight for Corax's tactical table.

"My Primarch, the Night Lords' fleet is retreating. Their flagship has withdrawn from combat range!" Shados lowered his voice, his tone full of worry and distress.

Corax stood before the tactical table, his entire body shrouded in a shadowy cloak, with the battle sand table of the entire area before him.

"It doesn't matter, they were unexpected reinforcements after all," Corax said. "I have already contacted the Ultramarines Legion, and I believe they will arrive soon."

After a moment's thought, Corax decided to make another call. He pulled out the orc phone with the letter U on its top.

Puru-Puru-Puru

Sizzle~

Amidst the noise, Guilliman's voice came through the phone. "What's wrong, Corax? What happened?"

"The orcs have too many reinforcements. Have you set off yet?" Corax seemed a little awkward today, as it was the day he talked the most.

"Reinforcements are on their way!" Guilliman replied.

Hearing this, Corax finally felt relieved and ended the call.

But Guilliman looked at the warp storm before him, paused for a moment, and then spoke to the Navigator. "Did we just pass by here?"

...

The battlefield on the planet Australn was shrouded in thick smoke and the stench of blood, with crater-like fissures spreading across the ground.

Abaddon wielded the demonic sword, each strike capable of tearing souls apart.

Meanwhile, the Soul Drinker Sarpedon wielded his four deformed limbs simultaneously, one hand gripping a staff and unleashing terrifying psionic lightning, while another released scorching psionic flames.

The tentacles that grew from his back danced like venomous snakes, constantly applying enhancement effects to himself.

The shockwave from their collision tore through the surrounding air, instantly turning any warrior caught in it to ashes.

Abaddon's sword strikes were fierce, each blow seemingly aimed at tearing Sarpedon in two, but Sarpedon skillfully dodged them.

"Despicable! If you're so capable, let's fight face-to-face!" Abaddon roared. "What kind of Warrior hides in the distance?! If you continue to manipulate psychic energy like this, you will eventually fall into chaos!"

"Warrior?" Sarpedon responded with a cold laugh. "Hehe, Pardon me, I'm a Psychic Magos traitor! Our Primarch said, 'A wise man avoids dangerous situations.'"

"Clearly, you are not; only a fool would engage you in close combat! If you've got the guts, put away that sword of yours, and then we will have a fair fight!"

Serpedon's four eyes fixed on Abaddon, his voice filled with mockery and madness. "As for Chaos, my Primarch will save me! Do you have the Primarch to save you?"

Abaddon stopped abruptly. This soul drinker was utterly shameless, and he roared angrily, "Shut up!"

Seizing the opportunity, Sarpedon suddenly unleashed a burst of psionic energy, knocking Abaddon back several steps.

But the ground beneath Abaddon's feet cracked, and he drew a blood-red arc in the void with Drach'nyen, the blade pointing straight at Sarpedon's chest. Sarpedon brandished his staff, and the psionic barrier blocked the demonic sword at the last moment, but the barrier shattered instantly, and psionic fragments scattered in all directions.

He was sent flying backward, his flesh twisted and convulsing, and sparks of spiritual energy emanated from his body.

He tried to struggle to his feet, but Abaddon had already raised the demonic sword Drach'nyen, black flames surging forth.

He had ultimately underestimated the power of the demon sword. You will pay the price for what you said!

Abaddon had already envisioned his victory: the great Black Legion would defeat the false emperor, and he, Abaddon, would sit on the golden throne and become the new king! Just thinking about it makes him happy!

However, the moment he swung his sword, the sky suddenly darkened, and what followed was not thunder, but a group of roaring figures descending from the sky.

"Waaaaaaaaagh!"

"That was amazing! Waaaaaaaaagh!"

The piercing roars shook the air, and countless white orcs fell from the sky like a storm, while countless white mushrooms inexplicably sprouted on the ground.

Abaddon lost his footing and fell to the ground, while mushrooms already engulfed Sarpedon.

Duang duang duang~

The white orcs slammed onto the mushrooms, bouncing around everywhere, turning the entire battlefield into a giant trampoline!

The lead white orc was much larger than its brethren, with a strange bone staff on its head.

He looked up and saw Abaddon, his eyes gleaming with excitement, and roared in his deep, gruff voice. "Why iz your headz so pointzy?!"

Abaddon stared in confusion. "???"

Before he could react, hundreds of white orcs charged at him, wielding their weapons, some even ramming into him with their bodies.

"Damn xeno filth, DIE!" Abaddon roared and swung his demonic sword, cleaving several white orcs in the front row in two.

But they did not back down at all. Instead, they rushed toward him with even greater excitement.

The mushrooms could no longer withstand the onslaught of too many orcs and began to split open.

"Oi! Move your sword sheath further away!" one voice shouted.

"Uh, that's not a sword sheath!" another yelled.

"Don't move! Don't move! Ah! It's sliding! It's sliding! Hmm~~"

"Don't let your tentacles wrap around me!"

White Orcs, Soul Drinkers, and Black Legion warriors were all crammed into the gaps, and the battlefield descended into complete chaos.

"No matter how many of you come, it's useless! I, Abaddon the Great Raider, am invincible!" Just as he was roaring, Francis, Curze, and Magnus disembarked from a landing ship.

The Black Legion warriors stared in horror.

"Without Lord Horus, how will we fight against the Primarchs?" They all looked at Abaddon.

Abaddon's face hardened with determination. He swung his sword, opened a warp rift, and jumped in, roaring as he did so. "We are retreating! Black Legion, follow me! Our war is not over yet!"

There was no time to complain. The Black Legion warriors quickly fled into the crevice.

Francis "..."

Curze watched silently, and Magnus blinked in disbelief.

Upon entering the warp and seeing that the other party was not pursuing him, Abaddon glanced at everyone and smiled slightly.

"See! They don't dare to chase us in! With just a wave of my hand, they'll be lost somewhere in the warp! Give me a little more time, the era of the Primarchs will eventually pass!"

The previously disorganized Black Legion finally mustered a fighting spirit. Just as Abaddon nodded, he suddenly realized that several pieces of his power armor were missing.

Realizing what happened, he roared in fury. "That damn Brute! He's an absolute beast!"

With his roar, the members of the Black Legion slowly came to their senses, and all touched the things on their bodies. In the end, almost everyone roared in utter agony.

"You beast! My brand new arm armor!"

"You beast! My brand new used thermoforming kit!"

"Damn it! My hair!"

On this day, agonizing screams continued throughout the entire subspace!

On the planet Australn, Francis stood atop the ruins, the shimmering gold of his armor contrasting sharply with the surrounding gray haze. On either side stood Magnus and Curze, both dressed in golden armor.

Facing the eager citizens of the empire, Francis took a deep breath and spoke in a deep, powerful voice.

"Be not afraid, everyone! The God Emperor will help us!"

"We are the sons of the Emperor, and the Emperor has sent us to protect you! We bring you food and healing! By believing in the supreme divine authority of the highest heaven, the universal salvation of all, and the ultimate Imperial religion, we will bring strength to the empire! The Empire will protect you!"

"THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!!"
