Mokgetsu smiled without speaking; he had memories of another world. Although most of them were useless, there were some that could serve as reference.
If the communication technology in the Ninja World were more advanced, Mokgetsu could have even sold the broadcasting rights for a wave of television.
"At that time, the seat prices can depend on their quality, making the first row nearer more expensive for those Daimyo and nobles who like to sit close." Kakuzu was already scheming on how to earn more.
Without thinking, he knew that this tournament would definitely cause a huge sensation in the Ninja world. The participants would be countless, especially as just yesterday over a thousand ninjas witnessed Mokgetsu instantly defeat Pakura using Fire Dragon Dance.
If he thought like someone else, if he weren't a member of the Ninja Sect and instead a Bounty Hunter, even disguised as a youth, he would have competed.
Even if one couldn't learn this incredibly powerful Fire Release, obtaining it could fetch a high price.
...
Even though Charmander was somewhat satisfied with its body, Obito nevertheless had Charmander move to shed some belly fat.
Moreover, Obito discovered a very perfect exercise method.
That was him using Sharingan to hypnotize Charmander.
When Charmander completed almost a day's worth of training, Obito would hypnotize Charmander with his Three Tomoe Sharingan, making it feel that one-third of its training was still unfinished.
This way, Charmander feels it's doing the same amount, but in reality, it exercises more, a win-win!
Of course, regardless of how you think, the body would still be tired. Charmander often felt its body became weak, exhausted every day beyond belief.
"Char-char," Charmander voiced its grievances with a translator, frowning.
Didn't know if it was fattening or eating too much, yet it was this tired.
"You've been cultivating for so long; of course you're tired, but maybe you'll get used to it," Zorua comforted.
"Char?" Charmander looked at Zorua confusedly, its cultivation time was the same as before.
"How could it be unchanged, I feel like you're trying to catch up to Riolu." Zorua teased.
"Better rest more, you're so diligent, Shisui might think I'm lazy."
Zorua hoped Charmander could return to its previous state.
Charmander widened its eyes at Zorua, a flash of lightning struck in its mind; this… this wasn't right.
Charmander brought Zorua to confront Obito, questioning what was going on.
"It's Zorua's mistake, it has always been this training amount." Obito tried to pass the blame to Zorua.
"Is it? Then I'll ask Rockruff," Zorua prepared to find Rockruff, who didn't get along with Obito, to witness.
Obito perspired slightly on his forehead; if the matter escalated, it was unclear how Nohara Rin would view this.
Even though his general intention was for Charmander's good, using hypnosis to increase training was a bit inhumane.
Obito was only thinking of helping Charmander finish dieting, after which it would return to normal training.
"Alright, to help you lose weight, I actually used Sharingan to hypnotize you; your recent training was one-third more than usual." Obito explained his secretive method, hoping Charmander would understand his intentions.
Zorua looked at Obito in amazement, then saluted. Compared to Obito, its pranks seemed insignificant.
Charmander's pupils suddenly contracted, looking at Obito in disbelief; there was such an evil person in the world.
A surge of anger rushed to Charmander's head, igniting its body's strength with unwillingness and rage.
"Roar!"
With a loud roar, Charmander burst with an even more dazzling white light than during hatching.
The sudden, intense, and bright white light grabbed the attention of all disciples in the Southern Border Forest, who turned to look at Obito.
"Weren't all the Ninja Beast Eggs hatched, why's there white light?" Kakashi was a bit puzzled.
Even with an additional disciple, he didn't remember Mokgetsu giving Yamato a Ninja Beast Egg, nor had Yamato taken one out.
"Obito, what happened?" Nohara Rin curiously asked, walking to Obito's side.
"Ahaha..." Obito awkwardly laughed, his mind racing to think of a countermeasure.
Obito also found himself bewildered; surely, Charmander didn't get so mad that it'd turn back into an egg.
"What's that?" Yamato scratched his head, unable to comprehend the situation.
He was too late and hadn't witnessed a Pokemon egg hatching scene.
Before Obito could come up with an excuse, all disciples in the Southern Border Forest approached Obito, fixated on the white light.
PS: There's another chapter coming later, time uncertain.
Lately, I'm in a confused state, teeming with ideas for side stories and subsequent plots, yet the current plot and necessary transition are immensely stuck.
