The magician's boots hit the ground, and the magic power radiating beneath his feet crushed the floor tiles to dust. His robe gently swayed, surrounded by floating green magic circles.
The mage stood firm on the ground, his robe lightly fluttering, his magic energy swirling all around. Fearlessly, he gazed up at the dreaded Evil God, the field of magic power emanating from his body temporarily dispelling the aura of fear from the God.

The Priest Mahad's pupils contracted slightly, and his gaze towards this ultimate magician grew complex.
Perhaps only he could truly sense the immense magic power contained within this mage.
Mahad was known as "the strongest magician in the world" and had been forced to seal a portion of his own power due to his overwhelming strength. Yet even so, he never imagined there could be someone with such astonishing magic power—destructive, unfettered power that truly reached the realm of the gods through Magic!
"When did the Pharaoh have such a powerful magician spirit?" he couldn't help but wonder.
"Quintet Magician's effect!" Yugi shouted, "When successfully summoned, all cards on the opponent's field are destroyed! Because Quintet Magician is a Level 12 ultimate mage, this effect also applies to the Evil God!"
Bakura's expression turned grim: "Tch, always coming up with troublesome things..."
"Go, Quintet Magician!" Yugi shouted, "Fivefold Magical Burst!"
The magician's expression was as resolute as steel, standing firm without moving an inch. He silently chanted incantations, crossing two magic staffs in front of him.
World-shaking magic power was gathered from all around, as if the magic fluctuations of the entire world were summoned and concentrated. Five magic arrays were illuminated in sequence, spinning rapidly with an immense flow of magic power, destructive to the extreme yet contained without dispersing. The level of precision in wielding such destructive magic was truly awe-inspiring.
The five magic arrays activated simultaneously, and the magic fluctuations surged forth like a volcano erupting after centuries of dormancy in one explosive breath!
In such a scenario, Bakura might have bluffed with something like "you can destroy all cards but I have no cards, only tablets" if it were anyone else, but knowing the opponent was the godfather of bluffs, such tricks would never work.
With an attack power of 4500, once this "Fivefold Magical Burst" hit, the magician's follow-up attack would undoubtedly flip the game in an instant!
But Bakura's pupils contracted, and he shouted: "Quick-play Magic 'My Body as a Shield'! Pay 1500 Life Points to negate and destroy the effect of 'destroy all cards on the field'!"

Paying half his Life Points was accompanied by the pain of having his soul wrenched from his body, but Bakura paid no mind to the pain and instead looked up and laughed.
Golden lightning erupted from the tablet he flipped, violently clashing with the magical impact of the Fivefold Magical Burst. Golden sparks and magic waves scattered everywhere, as if the laser-like blades were cutting through load-bearing pillars, exploding the steps beneath the throne and riddling the opulent surrounding walls with holes.
The lightning dispersed the waves of magic, yet continued on its path toward the Quintet Magician on the playing field, seemingly intent on reducing the ultimate mage to ashes!
But the Quintet Magician flicked his wrist, and immediately a purple magic circle appeared in front of a staff, catching the beam of lightning as if it were a shield.
"The 'Quintet Magician' is a supreme mage; he cannot be destroyed by any card effects," Yugi said.
"Oh? You've got some skills," Bakura sneered, "but in that case, you still haven't dealt with my Evil God."
Jonouchi clenched his fist: "But in terms of attack power, Yugi's Quintet Magician is higher! After all, Quintet Magician has an attack power equivalent to the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, while 'The Wicked Dreadroot' only matches Obelisk!"

Dark energy emanated from beneath the Evil God, invisibly invading the magician's domain. Eerie dark mist surrounded the Quintet Magician, causing him to sway slightly, barely managing to channel magic to resist.
"Hahaha! This is 'The Wicked Dreadroot's' additional ability!" Bakura laughed, "As long as the Dreadroot remains on the field, the attack and defense points of all monsters, except for it, on the field are halved!"
"What!?" Jonouchi was shocked, "Isn't that too much of a cheat? Doesn't this mean you need an attack power of over 8000 to defeat it?"
"Exactly! That's why the Evil God is invincible, no matter what you do, hahaha!!"
"The other me..." Yugi pursed his lips worriedly.
Dark Yugi clenched his teeth, rapidly thinking of a strategy.
Unexpectedly, even the effect of the Quintet Magician was neutralized. Moreover, the Quintet Magician was already the pinnacle of attack power among Spellcaster-Type rivals the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, yet even that couldn't contend against the Evil God.
But there was still hope.
He hadn't given up yet.
"I activate the effect of the Magic Card 'Shuffle Reborn' in the graveyard!" Yugi shouted, "By removing this card from the game, I return one card on my field to the deck, shuffle it, and then I can draw one card!"
