"The doors have been shut tightly, sir," a teacher said as Nicholas reached the door
"I think they used a runic structure, which we have not been able to crack," Nicholas said.
"I will use force then"
"I don't think that would work my good friend" a figure said walking towards Nicholas
"What would I do then, Eldrich?" Nicholas said with a sigh
"I will break the runic structure, then." Professor Eldrich said with a smile
As Professor Eldrich stepped forward, he placed the palm of his hand on the door.
*CRACK*
The runic structure on the door began dispersing slowly, catching both Nicholas and the teacher's attention.
Professor Eldrich smiled at Nicholas before pushing the doors open.
Aiden drew everyone's attention as he beat the Mournfiend to a pulp
"Is he really a first year?" Whispers of students echoed through the hall but Aiden could not hear.
They faded into background noise as Aiden was consumed by rage.
As Aiden walked towards the Mournfiend, the Mournfiend took the shape of Kain
"Aiden, wait a second" Kain shouted
"You are dead" Aiden replied with anger in his eyes
Aiden snapped Kain's arm and leg making Kain shout in agony. As Aiden was about to finish him off, Professor Eldrich shouted
"Aiden don't"
Aiden could not hear the person speaking but as Aiden's sword was about to strike Kain
*CLANK*
Aiden sword clashed against Nicholas sword formed by his arcana as the swords clashed mid-air
"Calm down, Aiden," Nicholas said, his eyes calm.
Aiden hesitated for a moment before Nicholas looked at the figure on the stage.
"Wow" the figure said, applauding.
"I can't believe that Astralis Academy is this strong" the figure said
"I thought we were one step ahead but seems like our information was leaked and that is why the bombs did not go off"
"Who told you?" the figure asked, pointing at Nicholas.
Nicholas looked at him for a second before speaking, Voss and Suhi who were struggling in their individual fights abandoned them about to strike Nicholas who was momentarily distracted
Have to kill him now, since he's distracted' Voss and Suhi thought.
I know that's what he would want.
"Sir" Lyra shouted
As Voss and Suhi were about to strike Nicholas
*BOOM*
Voss and Suhi were stopped in the air, unable to move their body, all eyes turned to look at Professor Eldrich who stared back smiling at them
"You are forgetting he is still your director"
"You did not have to use that" Nicholas said with a sigh

"Regarding your question, we received an anonymous note talking about the bombs and their located places" Nicholas said looking at him
All figures had been defeated by the students but they had lost close to thirty-five being dead and fifteen injured, something that Director Nicholas had clearly not accounted for and he did not know where the Headmistress was at this crucial time
"How do we change our students back, Voss, Suhi and Kain" Eldrich asked stepping forward
The figure then smiled widely before cackling like a hyena seeing his prey
"What is so funny?" Nicholas asked
"Hm, I am laughing because those students have formed contracts with demons, so you understand the consequences" the figure said
The students began whispering among themselves although most came from the first-year students
"Demonic crest, what is that all about?"
Director Nicholas face darkened but he was yet determined to save those students but that fell short
"I need to remind you the world is harsh, Mr Nicholas" the figure said
In an instant, Kain, Suhi, and Voss's heads were decapitated from their bodies, blood spilling on the glass floor where Nicholas and Eldrich stood
The students screamed at the gruesome sight.
Eldrich and Nicholas's faces darkened as they saw the fallen students before looking at the figure who was smiling looking at them
'He's dead' Nicholas and Eldrich said as their arcana rose violently
Mistress Arwen and Elior had followed the tunnels and were approaching the building which the headmistress was held
"How do you know this is the right path?" Mistress Arwen asked looking at Elior
"I found out about it recently," Elior said, looking ahead.
There was no point lying.
"So, I take it, you never reported this to the school" Arwen said
"I will explain everything to you in private Ms Arwen but right now, rescuing the headmistress is our number one priority"
"I will take you up on that offer" Arwen said
"Miss Arwen, can you do something for me?" Elior said as they arriving closer to the building
"What is it" Arwen replied
"Don't tell anyone I found out. You take all the glory for finding the headmistress."
"What makes you think I would do that" Arwen replied
"You would do it if you want me to remain your student"
Arwen kept quiet for some time before answering Elior
"Low blow, I would keep it"
"Yeah, I know" Elior said
As Elior and Arwen reached the building, someone knocked on the door.
"What is the password" the figure asked
