Silence.
Heavy silence.
The museum that had been noisy seconds ago suddenly became quiet. Very quiet 😭
Le Foudateur walked into the hall with Principal Lawrence behind him. He was dressed in a trendy turquoise native outfit, clean and sharp like something straight out of a modern luxury runway. A dark designer shade sat on his face, not for hiding, but for presence.
No rushing. No shouting. No anger.
Just calm.
The dangerous kind of calm 💀
He looked around once and smiled lightly.
"Mon Dieu.[1].." he sighed dramatically. "I leave for a few hours and suddenly my art fair becomes a wrestling competition?"
A few students immediately looked down.
BigDave leaned toward MideFlex.
"He's not smiling."
MideFlex didn't take his eyes off him.
"Neither joking." 😭
Le Foudateur turned his head slightly.
"Aramide."
AraBaddie, who was in charge of the fair, quickly stepped forward.
"Yes sir."
"Explain before I become old standing here."
She cleared her throat, nervous.
"Sir… there seems to be a disagreement concerning one of the students' artworks."
"Ahh..." Le Foudateur nodded slowly. "Une petite catastrophe."[2] His eyes moved across the room before stopping. "And who is responsible?"
"I am, sir."
Heads turned instantly.
Hajiya Amina stood firmly with her arms folded.
"This school sold my son's painting."
Le Foudateur looked at her for a moment, then nodded once.
"Hmmmmm…"
Silence thickened immediately.
Hajiya Amina blinked.
"Excuse me? What's hmmmm?"
Le Foudateur smiled faintly.
"It is an art fair, madam." He opened his hands slightly. "If nobody buys the paintings, then my students will begin to think they are drawing for wall decoration."
Gift covered her mouth.
"Sharp."
"Straight bullet," a student whispered 😭
Hajiya Amina frowned and pointed sharply.
"No. She bought it, and I want it back."
Le Foudateur turned slowly toward Isabella.
"Mademoiselle Isabella… did you purchase it legally?"
"Yes of course," Isabella replied calmly, still looking at another painting.
"Très bien.[3]" He nodded once, then looked back at Hajiya Amina. "Then where exactly is the problem?"
"The problem," Hajiya Amina said firmly, "is that I am his mother."
"And?"
Silence.
Absolute silence 😭🔥
Gift grabbed Lolade's arm while even Principal Lawrence blinked twice.
"What do you mean… and?"
Le Foudateur tilted his head slightly.
"Le talent appartient à l'artiste."
Everyone paused.
He repeated calmly.
"It means… the talent belongs to the artist."
His eyes moved toward the records of the artwork.
"This is the artwork of an artist, not simply somebody's son." He looked back at her. "You do not own your child's talent."
A murmur spread across the parents. Some nodded in agreement.
MideFlex gave a slow nod too.
Hajiya Amina's face hardened instantly. She stepped forward.
"You seem not to know who I am."
Le Foudateur looked at her.
Then smiled.
Not warmly.
Dangerously 😭
"No."
"I already know who you are."
He adjusted his sleeve slightly and added calmly.
"And I believe… you are about to discover who I am."
Silence dropped again.
Then he stepped forward just a little.
"Je suis Le Foudateur[4]."
A pause.
"Le Fondateur de l'All-Star Foundation College.[5]"
Gasps spread through the room 😭🔥
Students turned instantly. Parents shifted in shock.
A voice whispered.
"So he's really him…"
MideFlex nodded slowly.
"That's why nobody argues with him."
Hajiya Amina's expression changed for the first time. Not fear yet… but surprise.
"My apologies, sir," she said quickly, her tone softening.
Le Foudateur raised a hand gently.
"Si vous voulez quelque chose… le respect passe d'abord."[6]
Silence.
Hajiya Amina swallowed slightly.
"Sir…"
Before it escalated further, Isabella stepped forward, breaking the tension.
"Excuse me," she said softly.
All eyes shifted to her.
She turned slightly toward Le Foudateur and said in French, "il semble que tout le monde ici soit surpris de votre présence." [7]
Le Foudateur studied her for a moment.
Then his tone softened slightly.
"Vous parlez français ?" [8]
"Un peu."[9]
She stepped closer, lowering her voice slightly.
"J'ai assisté à une foire d'art en France l'année dernière. J'ai dû apprendre pour communiquer." [10]
Le Foudateur smiled faintly.
"Ce n'est pas 'un peu'."[11]
Isabella gave a small polite smile.
A subtle shift entered the room.
The tension didn't disappear… it just changed form.
Le Foudateur tilted his head.
"Et vous trouvez normal ce qui se passe ici ?" [12]
"Ce n'est pas à moi de juger… mais la situation est tendue." [13]
"Très observatrice." [14]
He glanced briefly at Hajiya Amina before continuing.
"Elle ne comprend pas les règles d'une exposition." [15]
"Ou elle comprend… mais elle est une mère." [16]
A short pause.
Le Foudateur looked at her more closely.
"Et vous, dans quel camp êtes-vous ?"[17]
"Le côté de la logique."[18]
That made him smile slightly.
"Intéressant."[19]
Silence settled between them.
Then Le Foudateur straightened.
"Let's settle this in my office"
"Nous allons régler cela dans mon bureau." [20]
He turned and walked out.
Principal Lawrence followed quickly.
Isabella followed behind.
Hajiya Amina hesitated… then followed as well.
And just like that—
The museum was left behind in whispers and tension 🔥
BigDave exhaled slowly.
"What just happened…"
MideFlex replied quietly.
"The founder just took control." 😭🔥
[1] My God
[2] A small disaster
[3] very good
[4] I am the Founder
[5] The Founder of AllStars Foundation College
[6] If you want something… respect comes first, madam.
[7] It seems everyone here is surprised by your presence.
[8] You speak French?
[9] A little
[10] I attended an art fair in France last year. I had to learn to communicate.)
[11] That's not 'a little'
[12] And do you find what is happening here normal?
[13] It is not for me to judge… but the situation is tense.
[14] Very observant.
[15] She does not understand the rules of an exhibition.
[16] Or she understands… but she is a mother.
[17] And you, which side are you on?
[18] The side of Logis
[19] Interesting
[20] We will settle this in my office.
