Noah learned of his birthright ability and started playing around with it more and more. He went outside and found some ants going to an ant hill and opened a two small portals. One in front of the ant hill, and one in front of the ant colony. Just experimenting with this newfound ability he learned so much. Depending on the size, the distance changes. The smaller it is, the further he can spread the 2 portal ends. he did this with a variety of things and realized that his ability is growing. He's able to make larger portals and hold them open for longer. but holding it open for too long creates a mental and slight physical strain which progressively gets worse the longer he holds them. He started practicing with his teleport ability as well. This ability sounded super cool to him at first. But using it is something else.
"how do I even imagine myself teleporting? Man this ability is confusing I'll learn it some other time"
In the 5 years since Saienne's birth. She hasn't learned anything of what happened with her mother, or anything that occurred on that wretched day. Her war veteran father Aram managed to live through that battle and left with his daughter to find a peaceful place to live out his days.
"This is my baby girl. I want her to grow up and live a happy life like a normal girl. She doesn't need to know about this"
Saienne being in a desolate countryside. She felt as if she was going to die of boredom. So she practiced with her ability a bit. getting down on the ground with her little arms and legs, she tried doing a pushup.
"alright me lets go we got this. Okay, oneee."
she failed miserably.
After around roughly 50 failed attempts. she managed to finally do 1 clean pushup. She rushed to her dad and jumped into his arms hoping to receive praise.
"Daddy I did a pushup I did a pushup!"
Aram confused but delighted purely cause she's happy.
"Well done can you show me how you did it?"
she agreed instantly and dropped down and got straight to it. Only this time. She did 3 clean pushups.
"I thought you could only do 1? You can do 3, this is amazing I'm so proud of you! Your ability is super strength right? perhaps this is apart of that? you couldn't even do 1 before. but now u can do 3. keep practicing and you'll be strong enough to beat me in one punch haha"
Saienne overjoyed by her fathers praise. She rushes outside to go frolic around in her fields. Peering through her fields. She noticed a family outside driving past her home in a carriage.
"Woahh what a fancy carriage."
Obviously shocked by the exterior of the carriage. She decided to try out her ability on her legs and ran as fast as possible. Being the first time shes intentionally done this after knowing what her power actually is, she's taken aback by her own power at such a young age and tumbles over. Wanting to cry, but wishing to see who's in the carriage even more. She gets up and runs over the same way but this time tilting forward as if she was wishing to fall face first. Now knowing how to not fall over but not knowing how to safely slow down or stop. she accidentally ran head first into the carriage and instinctively put her hands out to save herself from further damage.
"No no no no Im gonna crash!"
Her being face down in the ground, and the carriage being completely destroyed. She's now painfully aware why the carriage looked so aesthetically pleasing.
it was royalty.
And they weren't happy with what happened. Out of the rubble of the destroyed carriage. Soldiers clad in knights armor carry out the royal family of Brutosia. The Prince Amarthiel, the Princess Arsynia, the Queen Isara, and the current King, the 18th to ascend the throne, King Brutain.
Saienne seeing this entire royal family. Knows she has done something unforgivable. Many soldiers seen Saienne crash into the carriage at ridiculous speed. After the soldiers finish saving the royal family. all 10 soldiers immediately set their eyes on Saienne.
Knowing what they're after. Her first instinct was to rightfully, run.
The massive fast men who are already getting closer to the young girl by the second forces her to use her ability to the max. And with that she's now home explaining to Aram how she's destined for death today.
