Tang Yue looked at Song Jie, feeling that he was becoming increasingly bold.
He needed a good lesson — a proper punishment!
While waiting at a red light, she smiled faintly, her eyes tracing Song Jie from head to toe. "Just you? I wonder if you can handle it."
Song Jie subconsciously froze. Such provocative words were truly hard to resist — especially from this charming woman in front of him!
"Whether I can handle it can't just be said; one must be brave enough to try," Song Jie replied with a smile.
"Oh? Is that so?"
Tang Yue's lips curved as she deliberately tugged at the hem of her black stockings.

It was maddening!
"Some people really have no self-control," Tang Yue teased with a victorious smile.
Song Jie quickly turned away. In this kind of situation, he was bound to lose!
But losing to black stockings… there was no shame in that!
Soon after, Song Jie followed Tang Yue to her apartment.
"Teacher Tang Yue, is this where you live?" he asked.
"This is my home," she replied.
Hearing that, Song Jie couldn't help but click his tongue twice.
A sea-view apartment! She really was a wealthy woman!
They took the elevator up and arrived at her floor.
"Here's the key." Tang Yue took a key from her bag and handed it to him. "Didn't I tell you before? I have an empty apartment across the hall. It's yours now."
Song Jie blinked. He had almost forgotten that detail.
"Thank you, Teacher Tang Yue." He accepted the key, feeling somewhat relieved.
If he had to share an apartment with her, he'd never survive!
"I'm right across the hall. If you have any questions, you can come knock," Tang Yue said.
"Okay."
"You should rest first. Eat when it's time to eat. I'll let you know in advance when we need to go to the Judgment Association."
Song Jie nodded. He opened the door, and a faint fragrance greeted him.
The place had clearly been cleaned recently — the air freshener scent was still fresh.
He put down his luggage and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window. "Compared to my rented room, this place is paradise!"
He lay comfortably on the soft bed, fully enjoying the bliss of his sea-view apartment.
By evening, Tang Yue came to the door across the hall and rang the bell.
Song Jie stepped out.
"Let's go."
The two walked side by side to the elevator.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the Lingyin Temple Inquisition in Lin'an.
"We've prepared cultivation resources for your Summoned Beast," Tang Yue said. "I'll give them to you after we finish here."
Song Jie's Summoned Beast was an enormous help to the Judgment Association. If it grew faster, its contribution would be even greater — so the Association didn't mind spending resources on it.
Inside the interrogation room, a woman was already seated.
Her long black hair flowed like a waterfall, and from the side, her figure was elegant and graceful.
Hearing their footsteps, she turned, her eyes meeting Song Jie's.
For a moment, Song Jie was stunned.
This woman looked a bit like Lingling!
It only took him a moment to guess who she was.
"Vice Chief Judge," Tang Yue greeted respectfully.
The woman nodded slightly.
"Song Jie, this is Leng Qing, the Vice Chief Judge of our Lingyin Temple Inquisition," Tang Yue introduced.
As expected.
Just as Song Jie was about to greet her, Leng Qing spoke first. "I know you. Lingling mentioned you to me."
"You must be Lingling's older sister, right?" Song Jie asked, feigning ignorance.
"That's right," Leng Qing said with a soft smile, her earlier aloofness vanishing. "Sit down. Let's talk."
As soon as she finished, Song Jie and Tang Yue sat.
Leng Qing continued, "The interrogation work will be entrusted to you. As for the reward, you won't be shorted."
"I trust you, Older Sister!" Song Jie said brightly.
Tang Yue shot him a sideways glance.
He called her Teacher Tang Yue all day — and now he was calling another woman Older Sister that easily?!
A strange feeling rose in her chest.
Leng Qing didn't mind. She smiled warmly. "Treat this place like home. If you need anything, you can ask Tang Yue. If she can't help, come to me."
"Understood," Song Jie replied obediently.
"Good. You two go handle the interrogations — I have other matters to attend to."
Leng Qing had only come by to meet Song Jie and fulfill her duty as host.
"Take care, Older Sister," Song Jie said politely as she left.
Leng Qing, wearing a long dress and standing over 1.7 meters tall, radiated a soft and graceful charm.
The moment she left, Tang Yue turned to Song Jie with a sharp tone. "Have you stared enough? Want to go outside and keep looking?"
Song Jie only smiled, staying silent.
His silence irritated her even more.
"Let's get to work!" she snapped.
"Teacher Tang Yue, I just sat down not long ago," he replied lightly.
Tang Yue pouted. This guy really was smitten!
"What does that have to do with you? Just summon Little Black already."
"Ah, right!" Song Jie slapped his forehead.
He had almost forgotten that his "employee" — Little Black — was the one supposed to be doing the work!
