Lu Ziyou completed his Star Chart, and a deep roar followed.
A large, lion-like Summoned Beast with blazing crimson fur leaped out from the Dimensional Space.
As soon as the Flame Lion appeared, it roared in Song Jie's direction.
The spectators shivered; they all remembered this beast's terrifying strength.

A moment later, Little Green joyfully flew out of the Dimensional Space, circling above Song Jie's head.
"Ding-a-ling-a-ling!" (Daddy, Daddy! Little Green has advanced!)
Song Jie chuckled warmly. "Good job, Little Green."
The little creature soon stopped circling and looked toward the massive lion opposite them.
"Is that your Summoned Beast?" Lu Ziyou asked, narrowing his eyes as he studied Little Green, unable to gauge its level.
Song Jie remained silent, his smile faint but confident.
"Hmph! Let's see how strong this little thing of yours really is!"
As soon as Lu Ziyou finished speaking, he commanded, "Flame Lion, attack!"
The Flame Lion roared ferociously, its breath igniting into a blazing jet of fire aimed straight at Little Green!
The flames tore through the air, their heatwaves distorting the surroundings as they engulfed Little Green's position.
However, Little Green's speed was incredible—it flapped its small wings and soared upward, narrowly dodging the fiery blast.
The fire exploded where it had just been, spreading into a small sea of flames.
Song Jie stood close by but was protected by his Holy Shield, completely unharmed by the heat.
In the next instant—
Little Green's eyes flashed with anger.
Countless vines burst out from the ground across the entire arena, writhing like serpents as they surged toward the Flame Lion.
Fire counters wood!
The Flame Lion was unbothered. It let out another furious roar, and the fire element within its body exploded outward!
A wave of fire swept from its center, burning away the encroaching vines in seconds.
"So it's a plant-type Summoned Beast," Lu Ziyou scoffed. "Using that against my fire-type Flame Lion—are you mocking me?"
His eyes flashed coldly. "Flame Lion, show them their place!"
The Flame Lion obeyed instantly, raising its head to spew another torrent of fire toward Little Green.
This time, Little Green didn't dodge. Instead, it raised several thick layers of vines to shield itself!
But the vines couldn't withstand the fire and were burned to ash within seconds.
Even so, Little Green's counterattack came immediately—this time with twice as many vines as before!
"It's useless!" Lu Ziyou said indifferently. "Your vines can't withstand my Flame Lion's fire at all!"
Sure enough, another burst of fire swept out, instantly burning the attacking vines.
"A plant-type versus a fire-type? What is that guy thinking?"
"He's doomed to lose!"
"Wait—why is the Flame Lion swaying?"
Everyone suddenly noticed something strange.
Even Lu Ziyou frowned. His Flame Lion looked dazed, its movements sluggish—almost like it was drunk.
"Flame Lion!" Lu Ziyou shouted.
Song Jie smiled calmly. He knew exactly what was happening.
The effect Little Green gained from its breakthrough was finally showing itself.
Little Green had absorbed a trace of poison element during its evolution—its vines were now toxic!
Every one of its attacks had been intentional, spreading that poison throughout the Flame Lion's body.
And now—it had worked.
"Flame Lion!" Lu Ziyou called again, panic flashing across his face.
But no matter how much he shouted, the Flame Lion didn't respond.
"Damn it!"
He clenched his fists. He had thought defeating Song Jie would be simple—but this was far from what he expected.
He glared at Song Jie. "Then I'll deal with you directly!"
At once, Lu Ziyou's spiritual world flared to life, and his Star Chart appeared beneath his feet—forming a glowing hexagram.
Contract Summoning—complete!
"Frosty Cang Wolf!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, the Dimensional Space opened again.
A massive wolf covered in pure white fur, over two meters tall, stepped out. The air grew frigid, and frost began to creep across the ground wherever it walked.
With a light motion of his hand, Song Jie also completed his Dimensional Summoning—summoning Little Black.
"Go, Little Black!"
The shadow beast darted forward at an astonishing speed, heading straight for the Flame Lion.
"Stop it!" Lu Ziyou commanded.
The Frosty Cang Wolf slammed its paw onto the ground, instantly freezing the arena floor.
Countless ice spikes shot toward Little Black like deadly spears!
But at that moment—
Little Black's form blurred into shadow, slipping between the attacks effortlessly, its speed suddenly doubling.
"Shadow Element!" Lu Ziyou's brows furrowed. He was about to give another order when—
Little Green, still floating above, lashed out with a sudden flurry of vines!
The Frosty Cang Wolf reacted quickly, freezing the vines midair before shattering them like glass.
But by then—
Little Black had already reached the Flame Lion and merged into its shadow!
The audience stared, confused.
"What's that Summoned Beast doing?"
The answer came a moment later—
The Flame Lion suddenly stood up again, its eyes vacant and lifeless.
"What the—didn't it just collapse?!"
"Could it be… that shadow beast is controlling it?!"
Lu Ziyou's face turned pale. "Flame Lion, return!"
He tried to recall it into the system space—but nothing happened. The link was completely severed.
"How is this possible?!"
Suddenly, the Flame Lion opened its jaws—and blasted a fireball directly at Lu Ziyou!
The Frosty Cang Wolf leapt in front of him, stomping its paw to raise an ice wall that blocked the attack.
Even facing two Summoned Beasts at once, Lu Ziyou refused to retreat.
"Frosty Cang Wolf," he shouted coldly, "let them know who the true master of this arena is!"
