Inside Konoha's Naka Shrine, the sudden intrusion of Sumire Kakei and Uchiha Sarada instantly shattered the tense atmosphere.
Sasuke, Orochimaru, and the four reanimated Hokage — Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and Minato Namikaze — all turned toward the entrance in shock.
Two unfamiliar girls stood there, their eyes wide, breath quick from running.
"Oh my, I didn't expect anyone to barge in here," Orochimaru said with a curious grin, studying the two.
Sasuke's expression hardened. His conversation had been interrupted, and he didn't appreciate it.
"Little girls," Hashirama asked kindly, "who here is your 'Master' and 'Dad'?"
"We…" Sarada began, but Sasuke cut her off coldly.
"If you don't want to die, get out of here immediately. This isn't a place for you."
His crimson Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan spun to life, the air turning heavy with his killing intent.
Tobirama scoffed. "To be so harsh toward two children… typical of an evil Uchiha brat. Just like Madara."
"Tobirama," Hashirama warned, glaring at his brother. "Didn't I tell you not to provoke the Uchiha?"
"Got it, Bother," Tobirama muttered, turning away.
Sarada hung her head, her fists trembling — not from fear, but from anger.
She took a deep breath, lifted her head, and glared at Sasuke. "You were just as annoying when you were young, Dad."
Her words froze everyone in the room.
Sasuke blinked in disbelief, then gave a short, incredulous laugh. "What nonsense are you—"
But his words caught in his throat when he saw it — the pattern in her eyes.
"The Mangekyo Sharingan…?" His own pupils constricted. "That's impossible!"
Everyone's attention shifted to Sarada, whose Mangekyo spun like a burning sun.
"Besides Sasuke, there shouldn't be any other living Uchiha," Hiruzen murmured.
Tobirama frowned. "To awaken a Mangekyo at her age… what could she have gone through to reach that point?"
Orochimaru's smile widened. "If she truly is an Uchiha, then her talent is astonishing. Itachi, Sasuke — neither of you compare to this girl."
Sasuke trembled, his eyes fixed on her. "Who… are you?"
Sarada couldn't help but recall their first meeting — when Sasuke, her own father, had aimed his sword at her.
She chuckled bitterly, covering her face with one hand. "Heh… hahahaha…"
Sumire stepped forward quickly. "Everyone, please listen! Sarada and I came here from the future!"
"What?" Hiruzen asked, startled.
"I'm Sumire Kakei, and this is Uchiha Sarada," she explained. "We were pulled into the past by a space-time jutsu."
"Uchiha Sarada… from the future?" Sasuke's voice wavered. "My daughter?"
Hiruzen turned to Minato. "The future? Is that even possible?"
Minato thought for a moment, frowning. "In theory, time travel could happen through certain jutsu or dimensional rifts…"
Orochimaru's golden eyes lit up. "Time travel… splendid! Absolutely splendid! Today's discoveries are far more fascinating than anything in my previous life."
Hiruzen looked back at Sumire. "So, the girl with glasses is Sasuke's daughter. Then you said your 'Master' is…?"
Sumire pointed toward Tobirama. "Him."
Tobirama froze, stunned. "Me?"
He blinked, still processing everything. "That's impossible. I've been dead for decades. Unless…" His eyes narrowed. "Unless I never released my Edo Tensei form from today onward…"
"Wait," Hashirama interrupted, rubbing his temples. "This is getting too confusing."
Hiruzen sighed. "So, if she's really Secons Hokage's disciple… that makes her my junior sister?"
Minato looked genuinely perplexed. "Then that would make her Jiraiya-sensei's grand-aunt, wouldn't it? So… do I call her 'Master-Aunt' or something?"
Before anyone could sort out the bizarre family tree, the ground rumbled violently.
Orochimaru frowned. "The tremors are strong… has the war already reached this stage? To be felt even here in Konoha…"
"War?" Hiruzen turned to him. "What do you mean, Orochimaru?"
"The Fourth Shinobi World War," Orochimaru explained. "Uchiha Madara has been revived. He's on the battlefield right now… planning to destroy the entire shinobi world."
Hashirama's face fell. "Every era… there's always war."
Tobirama closed his eyes, focusing his senses. "At two o'clock from here — several strong chakra signatures. One of them is definitely Madara's."
"Then we need to move!" Hiruzen said urgently. "We'll discuss this time-travel matter later. Right now, we must stop Madara!"
Orochimaru shook his head. "You can't move freely yet. You're all still bound by my Edo Tensei control. Unless I release you, you can't leave this place."
Tobirama snorted, pressing his hand to the wall. Cracks spiderwebbed across the stone. "You've misunderstood something, Orochimaru."
"The precision of this Edo Tensei may be greater than before, but you've overlooked one thing — we were revived with power nearly identical to our original strength. Your control doesn't bind me at all."
But before he could finish, his body suddenly froze mid-motion — the binding jutsu taking hold once again.
Sumire watched silently and sighed to herself, It's a good thing Master isn't being controlled by Boruto right now… or he'd be forced to dance again.
