There are dead corpse everywhere, a large pane of Glass, presumed to be a large water tank, the content is dark and cannot be observed the inside of it.
The room is a large experimental room with a lot of scientific equipment, yet the room was unexpected covered with bundles of brown vines and dark roots and the only light source here the blueish starlike dots above the ceiling.
Looking at the grim situation everyone instead stayed on guard.
"this place doesn't look good, there might be something lurking in the dark" yu Yao spoke, with her pistol on hand.
"we just need to find the power source, everyone enough relaxing stay on high alert" he reminded everyone. Clearly they are still not out of danger.
As he bypassed the roots that seems to be rather pulsing, he found a holographic computer still functional at the corner. The lab looks similar to an ancient building covered in plant base organism.

The language was written in complete foreign off the earth, with the help of the synchronized system William could read its content.
"william, doesn't this looks like the latest product made by allentech. Inc? But this symbols.. Can you read it?" yu Yao was surprised to see a familiar gadget out of earth. Apparently allentech is the leading manufacturer of technological items. And holographic computer was just released 5 years ago before the apocalyptic event befold earth.
"i think I can, it said to be related to the security and power system. I can maybe decode this and turn on the active power switch and disabled the lock down sequence" confidently, spoke William as he was used to this kind high level hacking. It has even made a lot easier to program it with his ability to translate alien languages.
"boss, isn't this place a little creepier, i feel like this filthy wooden tube in the floor is alive and pulsing" volzar complained with unease.
"this doesn't sounds like a good place to stay longer.. " archer mumbled, as he stay on high alert despite the fatigue build up into him.
Suddenly a loud banging could be heard outside, it seemed the teamed that was left behind failed, the security bots are now trying to knock the heavy door down, there system is as red as madness, it seemed nothing can stop them, not until they eliminated the intruders.
"good thing, the door could block them but how long until the door could give in"
"Thank God that thin door is sturdy, or else we're doomed if they broke it down"
William unfazed by the commotion and continued to operate the holographic computer, found the loophole in the system and managed to hacked into it.
He turned on the power grid using it disabling the power saving mode as well as the lock down system temporary disabled the security bots outside and there activity stopped, and the outside fell into silent.
"i think I got into the main system, let's see" William said, intrigue by it's content.
"amazing those monstrous pile of metal suddenly stopped and the lights are on" volzar spoke looking at the door, he then look at archer and confused to why archer looking above with mouth widely opened as if he saw something horrific. He then looked above and found the source of blue light when the place was still covered in darkness.
"t-that can't be, is that the vitoid flower?!" dumbfounded by what he saw.
"yeah that's right it does resemble as such, i knew it this place is very dangerous!" archer replied with a feared expression not even his gun lowered, everyone's weapon system might have been disabled and ammunition hadn't been replenished but the normal semi automatic gun in his arms are enough to place a damage against a vitoid creature.
One of the main reason why earth fall, is also because of the infectious apocalypse known as viral wood syndrome. Vitoid emerged 20 years before earth fell. All infected either ungone mutation and turn into a being similar to a human living wood known as ent or give supernatural power and increased of vitoid infection resistance which overturn mutation, the odds is simply 95% monster mutation and 5% in increased in immunity and gain powers based on the human experiment that William participated with.
The monster outside, mimics are very similar to the infected on earth, except those on earth was controlled by a vitoid budding core, while here on this planet they're merely a puppet of trees below the sea.
William As he scroll into an interface that looks similarly like the content on the normal computer. He found a file logs by an alien researcher on this lab. Most files have been erased and only the remaining is few.
"this.. Entry 1-" William read it out loud.

Entry 7: beep.. A month pass, we manage to see a progress in our research. We discovered the seed of evil is a intelligent entity in a size of a ball, my fellow researcher is enthusiastic about the result of it.
Entry 12: I now felt the madness in this research, the seed of evil is now out of control! It was a mistake! It was our mistake! We shouldn't have planted it! It's growth rate is tremendous and it's killing most of the researchers
Entry 15: it was an abomination, we managed to locked the entire facility and made it slumber within the facility but the monster managed to germinate outside, the entire planet is in chaos, the portal inside the facility is also in lock down in any rate we can't risked undoing it
[entry 17: we're weak and hungry now, everyone is in frenzy trying to deactivate the lock down mode. The chief mechanics whom is tasked for the security bots maintenance have gone crazy! Those bots have started murdering everybody! The chief mechanics I saw him have a brown tumor on his head speaking nonsense about killing arcerocrats, luckily I managed to hide with the others to the main laboratory

William upon reading the tragedy that have fallen in this place, gulped. He know something isn't right about this place.
Suddenly a loud shrieks could be heard outside the laboratory, it started pummeling the door heavily it only takes a matter of time before the behemoth could enter.
It must be the chief mechanic mentioned in the logs.
