In Dressrosa.

Speed was of the essence.

Law, King Riku, and King Gancho did not delay. After their meeting, they gathered their forces and charged toward the main island.

The war had begun.

Loki leaped from his massive warship and landed on the docks with a crash that shattered the ground and the nearby houses. He let out a booming laugh.

Rhode and the other giants also leaped down, their weapons in hand. Their immense strength and size were a clear testament to the power of the giants.

Law, Riku Doldo III, and Kyros also landed on the island.

They were a small force, only a little over a hundred men.

"Young Master! They're here!"

On the King's Plateau, where the royal palace of Dressrosa was located, the officers of the Donquixote Family had gathered, surrounding Doflamingo.

With them was an army of about twenty thousand men, an elite force Doflamingo had drawn from his various enterprises, supplemented by mercenaries.

Even if King Riku hadn't counterattacked, Doflamingo had been planning to invade Green Bit and eliminate the threat once and for all.

Doflamingo was dressed in his signature style: sunglasses, a pink feather coat, cropped pants, and pointed shoes.

He looked like a flamingo.

He gazed at the giant, who was much taller than an ordinary giant.

"That's Loki, the prince of Elbaf. No wonder they're so bold."

"Pica," he said, "he's all yours."

"Yes, Young Master," a high-pitched voice replied.

It came from a giant of a man in armor, with a cross-shaped visor on his helmet. He had wavy hair and a spade tattoo on his shoulder. He was normally silent and serious.

The truth was, his voice was comically high-pitched for his massive frame, and he was often ridiculed for it. That's why he preferred not to speak.

A towering giant, made of countless rocks, appeared on the King's Plateau, a response to Loki's booming laugh.

"Pica," Law said, "one of the four top officers, He can assimilate with any rock he touches. He's the user of the Paramecia Stone-Stone Fruit. He can absorb the properties of the rock—its appearance, its hardness—and make them his own. He can transform into a massive stone giant, and his attack power is greatly increased. He can also pass through walls and merge with stone buildings, controlling them. But he doesn't actually become stone. His real body is hidden within the rock. So smashing or cutting the stone is useless. You have to defeat the user himself to nullify the ability."

Law was the type to plan his moves carefully, to study his opponents and devise a strategy to exploit their weaknesses.

"Hmph. A pushover," Loki scoffed.

He and Law were complete opposites. Strategy? Tactics? Who cares? Just fight.

And he had the strength to back it up.

"CHARGE!"

Loki led the charge, his every footstep shaking the ground with a terrifying boom.

He now possessed a new power, and his confidence was overflowing.

And he wasn't the only one.

Doflamingo, having joined the God's Knights and obtained immortality, was on top of the world.

Of course, he had still made some preparations, just in case.

"Fuffuffuffuffu... this time, none of you are leaving here alive."

"Young Master! The combined forces of King Riku and the dwarves, about three thousand strong, have departed from Green Bit and have landed on the northern bay!"

Doflamingo smiled and waved his hand. "Diamante, take six thousand men and wipe them out."

"Yes, sir!" the one-armed Diamante said, drawing his sword. He had lost his arm in a battle with Gion last year and had been captured. Doflamingo, after gaining favor with the higher-ups, had pulled some strings and gotten him released.

"King Riku and the dwarves are no threat," Doflamingo mused. "The real problem is the pirate fleet, led by Loki."

They might have only been a hundred or so men, but Loki alone was a match for the armies of many kingdoms.

"But..." Doflamingo sneered and raised his hand. A faint mark was visible beneath his sleeve. He could summon the members of the God's Knights.

"Trebol! Lao G! Stop them!"

"Yes, sir!"

Doflamingo's officers, eager for a fight, charged forward with their army to meet the enemy.

The roar of cannons, the crack of rifles, filled the air.

The ordinary citizens of Dressrosa had already fled, seeking refuge in the non-combat zones.

Loki was at the forefront of the charge. He and Pica came face to face.

"Taki Ishi (Flowing Stone)!"

Pica's high-pitched voice actually stunned Loki for a moment.

A hundred-meter-tall stone giant, with the voice of a eunuch... who wouldn't be taken aback?

In that moment, eight stone tentacles, hardened with Armament Haki, erupted from the ground around Loki and shot toward him.

Loki simply raised his great hammer. It crackled with electricity, the power of the weather surging through it.

"Thunder!" he roared, bringing the hammer down.

A storm of lightning and thunder crashed down with the blow.

The eight black stone tentacles shattered.

And Pica, whose real body had been hidden within the tentacles, was electrocuted, his skeleton visible for a moment, like an X-ray.

He collapsed to the ground, his body charred and smoking.

A single blow.

A one-hit kill.

Loki grinned and patted his hammer.

Heh. Got my confidence back.

In his seven battles with Jin, aside from the first, where he had used the power of Ragnarok's thunder, he hadn't dared to use it again.

Playing with thunder in front of the user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit was like showing off your sword skills in front of a master swordsman. You're just asking to be struck down.

Doflamingo's pupils contracted. Pica... defeated in a single blow?

'As expected of the strongest warrior of Elbaf.'
