Adam sat in the back of the car and looked at Noah with a mixture of amusement and disbelief.
He slowly shook his head, still processing the way his husband had just navigated their disagreement.
A small, fascinated smile played on his lips as he studied the younger man's face.
"Where exactly did you learn to do something like that?" Adam asked, his voice low and curious. "Is that a new trick you have been practicing just for me?"
Noah didn't offer a complicated explanation.
He simply gave a casual shrug, a playful glint still dancing in his eyes. "I just had a sudden feeling that it might work, and it clearly did," Noah replied.
"It turns out that you are a lot easier to convince than I thought you would be."
Adam let out a soft chuckle, silently blaming himself for his own weakness.
He realized that he had fallen so deeply for Noah that all it took was one incredible kiss for his resolve to crumble like a house of cards.
